Villainous Volcano

To be related to a volcano,
Groomed to stifle oceanic ember,
Doomed to love less, so fearful to love her,
The dragon is feared even in slumber,
It's beautiful but do not approach, No!

I am a mountain, just another mountain,
I will not spit those flames like a fountain,
I swallow them, unable to grow tall,
A majestic evil or just a small
hill! It's common in these parts, after all.

The Bad Man

Atuk was a bad man,
He split his family, lost his money
He drank the dark tearful sorrows away,
As he walked he abused,
The syahadah he refused,
He was a bad, violent, angry dark man.

He made people cry, 'specially his wife,
As he stormed through life, he did it his way.

Make no mistake, he loved them.
In his own bad selfish way, he loved them.
His rough weaknesses distorted that love,
Beer upon beer, drinking made it curve,
and bend and warp and coiled,
His accidental failures destroyed,
decimating every life that was in
proximity! his life murdered plenty

This wasn't just love, this was a family
and that success never comes easily,
Nobody finds that they can live happily
ever after; like the themes of Kafka

Family conflicts with love,
Love is a constant deed,
A family needs, a father must feed,
A father creates; a father, he failed.

Love? Love is a feeling, an intention,
The warm rocking of the waves, they push you
The gentle breeze; it caresses you too,
Love is romantic, it is a concept
Life has other plans for this dreadful man

Atuk gave me my first book, you must know this
He defended me against the rest of
my angry, confused, frowning family
Like an unused broken facsimile
He couldn't stop, He never stopped.

Those long talks at the corner of the bed
Colored me long after; now I get it
he would've smiled at me once I got it

He would've smiled that sweet and toothless smile
Through the Benson & Hedges fog he smiled,
The bad man in his tattered kain pelikat
and that strong mixture of Old Spice and sweat

He was a charmer; handsome when he smiled
Man with a secret life, an angry wife,
Separated children, He smiled;
even when he was filled with strife

Never for me, I hope
Coz When he left I moped,
My mind on dope,
I lost that hope.

Atuk was a bad man, so it seemed
He beat, He screamed, He troubled and he dreamed
He failed and he broke until he was broke,
He drank He cursed He left
He left God Damn It He left

He comforts He talks He gave me chocolates
He gave me books he gave some proper words.

This horrible rojak that I concoct,
Proof that words are all I have ever got,
And the bad man with that smooth toothless smile ,
He gave these words to me
The bad man; He loved me,

No matter where you are, handsome bad man,
Know that I love you, man
Oh, charming bad man with the toothless smile,
For the last and first time, let's chat and smoke.
Goodnight, bad man, Till we meet again, Tok.

Let Us Paint, World

What I am is a body of water,
I am fluid; always moving matter,
Eroding the earth I change the world
even if only the heart of a girl

A never-finished canvas I stand,
Paint me with colors even though it fades,
ev'ry word a stroke; ev'ry slow smile can
make me or break me before the big gate

Color me the crimson in my veins, world
Feed my burning rage at my own mistakes,
Numb my sick stomach with things that you take,
Stoke my fury so I don't hesitate, world

Color me the pale pretty ocean, world
Tinge my heart with your melancholic tears,
Taint my years of pride with my own failures,
Soften me with your irrational fears, world

Color me the gold we mine from you, world
So I fight for my immortality,
Stand strong, unbroken with vitality,
My motivation without penalty, world

Throw me colors, red and blue and gold, world
So I infect all of you around me,
Stand and witness my magnum opus! The
Marbled painting; my stance, my art achieved,
Stand! Watch this canvas live and watch me leave

Listen and Obey

Silent words and invisible smiles now,
Rule the tiny world under your dark cowl,
Teach its people to fear you, it's success!
Drain all the pus from this horrid abscess!

The heart is a weak fool, pay it no mind,
It cannot rescue you while in a bind,
Obey, listen and don't incite any waves,
You'll only rise to power when you're slaves.

Accept things as they are and move on, boys
Blind your eyes and be drunk on my bright toys
Be loyal in exchange for pasty pearls,
Who are you to change this nightmarish world?

This is the only way to build a nation,
You cannot win against my tradition.

Thy Death, Poetry

Machiavelli's false theory reigns supreme,
I have no use for your marbles,
So economize your garbles!
What use has a mannequin of a dream?

The dull green top, it spins in fuddled haste,
True beauty's torture in its stagnant jig,
Gulp! Don't savour the devil in the taste,
The plot's been bought and now it's time to dig.

Fare thee well and may ye always be merry
on thine voyage to your darlings, Poetry.

Childish

The boy, he drowns in it,
That double-breasted flesh blanket,
Striped and stylish upside down noose,
It's too hard to get loose.

Death delayed as he sees the tree,
The checkered lag finally waves,
He's the champion of this Grand Prix
against the non-competing slaves
