Black Lotus Poem
Untainted by society
Unknowing of the years to come
Not caring what we wear,
How we look or who our friend are.
Running in circles,
Chasing our tails.
We all had that special friend
The no one could see
Invisible to everyone but us
Now we float on a wave of intoxicated insta-friendships
That we made only in our kindergarten years.
When we wore tiaras and over sized dresses wide eyed and gaped toothless
Imagining what greatness would become of us Superheros and Princesses
Helplessly happy without rhyme or reason.

Black Lotus Poem
I wave good bye
But still your eyes are dry
I say Hi
But you walk right by
Why do I even try

Black Lotus Poem
TAG!
Your it.
A flounder of screaming children,
Running,
Forever running,
Now it's tag,
that you're running from
Then it’s your problems,
Next your responsibility
After that comes death
Drowning in our issues
Of this endless life
Struggling to keep our heads above the water
As people drag us under the foaming waves
They want to get on top
Running, running, running
Forever running

Black Lotus Poem
We must be talking
To loud to hear our own voice
In a sea of shouts
Heard round the whole world
Rumble of a loud nation
We need to listen
Everything crumbles
Opinions lost on deaf ears
To lost to listen
We are all guilty
We stumble because we are blind
Guidance is needed

Black Lotus Poem
Fly, fly, fly away
With wind beneath my wings
Clouds are in my hair
