Mother's Pride

Arrival of the outsiders… who are they?
Suitcases. Open them up, clothes thrown over the place.
Roots growing, fasten your mouth here we go.
They grow as my voice gets tangled up I can’t breath.
I choke myself to the sink… where is the color of my skin?
White powder appears all over my face.
What are you waiting for wipe it off or else it will be too late.
I had an obligation to meet I needed my pride.
One root growing leaving the other behind.
I must resist the nature of this place.
I need a vision of forgotten words speaking something else.
My fingerprints are there somewhere I need to go back and find them.
I open my mouth up I can see the other root it’s growing back.

Fight For Survival

A Boy’s dream a wealth of education.
He traveled the world to seek knowledge.
Many years from the mother made soil.
Black coat worn in pride of joy.
Words he came out of, they were all shocked.
A harsh lesson realized, all the hard work for what?
I went, the country was sold out by the mighty paper.
A throw away of the back coat in the bin never to be worn again.
A look of sheer anger our own royal brigade was worthless.
He didn’t eat. Many days he only drank water to stay alive.
Bring peace in the nation, not firing guns.
Years went by metal pieces on the hand, a march to the jail yard.
He came out one day he still continued the struggle.
Until I breathe I fight, money is the root of all evil.
They finally had to give in to the national hero.
A flag finally cleaned, hung up at last after so many years.
When he left us we gave him great honor we stamped his forehead
On the almighty rupee he cherished.

Pull Away

A women goes to work.
It’s a normal day.
I will this time get on time.
I will make sure my children come.
They won’t have to walk today.
It will be pulled wherever it goes.
There can’t be a noise.
Wake up but it will still be there.
I’d better hurry I’m getting late

The Clock Strikes

A old man rocks on his chair.
He keeps looking at his clock.
It is like the clock has stopped.
Time is not moving he say’s.
Then suddenly the time starts to move.
A voice is heard.
Wings then fly through the sky.
The old man sings in joy.

A White Sealed Envelope

A five dollar bill in my name.
A white sealed up envelope.
A white handkerchief of forgotten spring.
A gold ring.
Sparks that fly through the sky.
The forces of nature are with us..
Masterpiece equipment that had the last laugh.
A bottle of water on the pavement.
I’d better pick it up it might be mine.

Remember

My black hand bag tucked under my arm.
A rush of blood to the head.
Come on let’s release the energy today.
The arrival of the meeting parade.
A peep through the haunted night.
A year on things had changed in there lifes.
A picture frame in a human form.
A normal driver of a taxi does his routine journey.
There is nothing new in what he does as he sees a
female passenger near a taxi stand.
The passenger get’s in as he drops her off near just after her
house to her request.
She say’s she has no money the taxi driver see’s her daughter
in her so he let’s her off.
The taxi driver glances in the back mirror to see a black bag on the
seat.
He quickly get’s out of the taxi with the bag and goes to the house
where he dropped the girl off.
A door slowly opens an old women appears, who are you she say’s to him.
Can you give the girl her bag she left it in my taxi he say’s
The old women looks at him in shock, she say’s to him I have no one anymore.

A puff of air that disappeared.
The girl see’s it she tries to wake her mum up.
Mum it’s here again the puff of air.
The dog left the house and never came back.

Raincoat

A old worn out raincoat.
It was so wet it was hard to wear it.
Nested place of another time.
A flash back in my mind.
A door bell that rang.
It was clean like a whistle.
Open your heart oh dear one.
It’s time to wear the raincoat.

Tales of the Eyes

A small boy holds firm his necklace that has a hidden design.
Walking alone, a broken road, tiptoeing hitting the surface.
His eye has dreams. He can make it come true, he believes.
Holding the rope that has many god-created gifts in place.
The boy decides to cry as he wipes those lonely water works.
The rope starts to snap slowly, the lonesome ownership will be no more.
He gets worried as he calls for help, they all gather around holding the rope.
They pull with their full force but cannot change the willpower of the Almighty.
The let go of the rope happens as they chase that gift, they call there is but wasn’t.
It screams loud as it feels the air touching his face but the night has not arrived.
Throwing of the hidden bells has cost him at least the morning delight.
A decade ago it was a shrine to the utmost respect in people’s hearts.
It disappeared one day— that made this tearful thing look for tender care.

Fairytale

A boy dreams of a fairy.
She will come and take my tooth today.
His mum tucks him up in the night.
Sleep well I love you she say’s.
A smile so wave goodbye.
An eternal soul so where are we today.
Bottled milk can I have it know.
A dream that lasted a life time.
