Emptyness

A place still lies
Lonely and untouched
Every night it cries
Seeking for its walls to be patched

A place still lies
But dead in its self
With broken memories
And an empty shelf

I struggle to find myself
In the midst of all the strife
But above me a cloud of darkness
So thick, full of sadness

The place will still lie
But not utter a cry
It shall continue to die
Because no one asked why

Earth Swallow Me

Have you ever felt so empty
That you know not what you want
A feeling that keeps you thinking
Why every hurt is your fault

Such emotional and mental depletion
Which keeps heaping anvils on the head
Thinking about everything, but nothing
Then sad waters begin to shed

I say, for i feel
I feel it so deep in my marrows
I feel it heavily and cannot think
All i feel is, heart of sorrows

I can hear them now
Those voices in my ears
They are getting larger now
But i feel no fears

It shall all be well
At least a comforting answer
To relieve me from the heart that fell
The heart which broke and had no repairer

The voices, they tell me
"End it all, free your soul from this body
The soul has no pain to feel
At peace: nothing about which to worry."

I rejoice at the solution
But then, my soul would be more sad
For after the persuaded soul-elevation
Many hearts will go bad

So now i lie on the shores
The Ocean and the land
Fate, are you keeping me
Or should i bid them, GOOD-BYE

In Hope

i crave in hope
for things unexpecting
far from the norm
merged in my dreams

who said fantasies were felonies
for then i would have received a death penalty
take my wish list and see for yourself
yes, i know what you want to tell me
"Wild dreams can make you go mad."

but all i feel
is the strength within
a candle lit eternally
a bond of life to fulfill

there's one thing i know
the candle shall never go off
for that strength in heart
shall soar me onwards

Placing You First

I placed you first,

Even though you knew not.

For it was better done than said;

That it was truly from my heart.

And so I gave them up

I gave it all up for good

Left my mind heated from thoughts

As I lain every night to sleep

Thoughts so deep, I could not understand;

Whether I was going mad,

When I took that spit for you,

Or it was just love,

That I had for you.

My granny would not forgive me

For I left his funeral so early

To get you that ice cream

Else you would scream

Wishing to wake up and say,

"What a dream!"

NO! not a dream, it's a nightmare.

One that i cannot bear to share.

I pray you leave me now

My heart you wrecked

Lies in ruins

To think that place you had, but how.

I placed you first

Not because I knew you first

I placed you first

Because you were the best

And now I rest my words

For I now weep

Good-bye my sweet

Or may I say, my CURSE!

Times Like These

Times like these
Are times of ease
When so much peace
Reigns without cease

Unlike far across the ocean
Where reigns commotion
Full of depression
And worn out of liberation

So there's enmity and servity
And all things are vanity
Such regardless quality
For peace and humanity

But thank you, oh God
For my precious life
Creating me so strong
On this gracious land

A Wanderer

A wanderer once set out
In search of some treasure to have
Nothing so precious thought about
Than something as true as love

A wanderer, once tired of searching
Threw down the anchor to settle
On halt was no pleasure in perching
In the sight of an anxious looking turtle

But then …

The wanderer met the wanderer
And thanked the One above
They couldn’t and cannot be put asunder
For truly they are in love

A wonderer once was in contradiction
In doubts of what seemed and was right
Tired of thoughts, a false discretion
A far walk away from the light

A wonderer once got to know
Of the wonderful treasure found
It was, to the one, a mighty blow
The head spinning all around

For …

The wanderer met the wanderer
And thanked the One above
They couldn’t and cannot be put asunder
For truly they were in love

A Time Like This

Sore pain and misery is our meal again for tommorrow,
Swirling in poverty and having our motto as sorrow.
The world is an enemy, so what can we ever borrow,
Until manna falls down, we shall forever remain mellow.

Burning eyes, always with tears flowing.
It's a norm, so the tradition keeps going.
We cry,''Help us!Help us, Lord!We are dying''.
But our oppressors just stay back, always smiling.

Is this our purpose brought on this earth?
To live suffering , and at last to face death?
What good have our forefathers done bringing us forth?
Nothing but great calamity, a world with no worth!

The time has come to make a solemn vow,
To trust and believe in ourselves, and to no one we bow;
To grow in wisdom, and develop the strength of a cow;
But to begin, we wish we knew how.
