A Beggar's Soul

On a corner one day
And another the next
I pay a high price
Just to be in debt
As awnings sway
And angels pray
Keep me safe another day
I owe you not now or then
But my pain is forgotten
Your spoils displayed
Decayed and rotten.

Finding Myself

On a hunt to kill my alter ego
His name is Up
And what goes up must go down
With a slug from a 45
Can't be He's still alive
An axe to the back
But he only counter attack
A pill to slow his thought
But he is tough as iron wrought
Peace from within
To a higher plane
But he fears heights
And stayed behind
And now i live in peace

Twin Flames 20sixteen

From white to clear
It's clear flames have twins
The reddish orange
That starts from the ground up
Burning up
All it touches
From paper thin
To paper thin walls
To the elitus
Oh G-d please save us
In despair and at night
The twin flames take flight
Consuming even itself

Still In Need

From the ticking and the chiming of my heart
To the clicking and rhyming of my thoughts
I am a free man today
A slave to yesterday
A wanted man tomorrow
For all I want they have
And for all they want I have
Save for the time I saved the world
This time I won't be so generous
For all they need is dangerous
And all that I have is still in need

Call In Missing

Hello sir how are you today
Yesterday was the last day
You yelled at me
And made the humanity in me want to flee
You called me stupid and worthless
How rude of you and selfish
I have thoughts and feelings
And after yesterday im left reeling
I dont know who I am anymore
But I don't want revenge or to settle the score
Im calling in missing until I find myself.

Heartless Cupid

Once again I fall victim to love
Not head first but with a shove
Longing for a kiss and a caress
Instead I get grief and distress
Once I was a fool in love
Now I wish for death from above
No singing petals or swaying eaves
Just your presence and I'm begging you to leave
So go away Heartless Cupid
Im not falling for your tricks
Im not that stupid.

Twilight Alpha Moonlit Omega

By day its all a blur
But at Twilight I become hers
Bonfires s'mores and kisses
Discussing vanity thoughts
For vanity sake
But once in a blue moon
She becomes mine once more
Caressed by gentle swaying eaves
For all I have I have in her
She Delights me so easily
In the Twilight the Prelude to something more
I am persuaded to be hers forever more
