For My Loving Grandfather

I know a man whose kindness touches the
hearts of many,
And he would often be the first to lend you
his last penny,
Yes his heart is pure gold from out of love,
Right from the hands of the almighty who sits
high above,
There are times I drive him crazy
with all my “do this” and “want to's”
He loves and cares for all those people that he
knows,
His family, relatives and most of you all,
Many happy memories I carry within my
heart,
Vowed never to forget and never to be apart,
As a grandson I would look up to this man with
great awe,
For you see he is my friend and he is my
Grandpa.

Be a Kid Again

Give yourself a star for
everything you do today.
Open a pack of cupcakes and give
one to a friend even though you
wanted both of them for yourself.
Have a staring contest with your brother/sister.
Catch the butterflies
again.
Make a face the next time somebody
tells you "no."
Ask "Why?" a lot.
Believe in fairy tales.
Have someone read you a story.
Wear your favorite shirt with your
favorite pants even if they don't
match.
Play those cool games in
the ground
and reach home in a total
mess.
Stick to your favorite
cartoons.
Hide your ”roties" behind the
almira..
Play in the rain ..
Make the paper boats once
again.
Sit really still for as long as the dog
(or any pet) is asleep in your lap.
Collect those WWE superstars tattoos
again.
Find some pretty stones and save
them.
Stick your head out the car window
and moo if you see a cow.
Walk barefoot in wet grass.
Count the colors in a rainbow.
Fuss a little, then take a nap.
Take a running jump over a big
puddle.
Giggle a lot for no real reason.
Tap someone on the shoulder while
you stand on their opposite side and
they turn around and no one's there
thing.
Enjoy your all-time favorite icecream/candy
bar.
Throw something and when it lands
make a cool exploding bomb noise.
Buy yourself a helium balloon.
Be a kid again.

Living By Choice Not Chance

You can plunge that dagger into my very heart,
you can take your hands and tear my skull apart,
smother me with a pillow as I lay asleep in bed,
empty an entire clip of bullets into my head.
You can pour petrol on me and set me on fire,
beating me broken to satisfy your desire,
you can try to drown me in the sea,
use a chainsaw and cut me into three.
You can hit me with a car,
cave my skull open with a crowbar,
but even after that I'll still stand before you,
because I choose to live by choice , not by chance
no matter whatever you do.

I Am

I'm from cute boys that
break your heart
to best friends that never
will
I'm from soaking up the sweet summer
rays
to chilling in the cool
winter
I'm from a softball hit 100 mph at you
to a hardball hit 0.01 mph at you
I'm from friends who
advise no drinking
to people with whom I
drink
I'm from acting all that
to getting what I
deserve
I'm from fitting in
to being a total social
outcast
to a person never seen

To His Love

He gets her every time
Those black eyes
hypnotize
She believes every lie that
he's ever told her
His touch she can't resist
And with just one kiss
He pulls her back in
She can't say no
And he has got her control
all over again.
