Dog Mans Best Friend

A dog is known for man's best friend,
spell it backwards, read it again.
When you do this you'll understand,
why they both go hand in hand.
A dog was created from up above,
this shows we are really loved.
He has four legs we have two,
the extra stand strong for me and you.
A famous name Rover,
he sits, heels, and learns to roll over.
Performs many tricks from day to day,
best of all is to obey.
He's always there honest and true,
gives himself to me and you.
You both become good pals,
even through all the howells.
Like a boy scout in many ways,
standing beside you all the days.
Remember dog is your friend,
backwards is love in the end.
                       Dog ~ God.

Children Are the Future

Remember our children as they grow,
teach them right from wrong.
Stand strong and let them know,
every day you are there all along.
We need so much to teach of love,
they need to learn how to care.
Help them to reach the stars above,
show them how to share.
Let them know life at times are hard,
but they can learn to take hold.
For it is them who holds the card,
they must be firm and bold.
Teach them to be patient with all,
never to hate anything.
For when it is our time to fall,
it's God who helps to earn wings.
So keep in mind they are young now,
they only learn from you and I.
They should always feel proud and take a bow,
reach up to the stars in the sky.

The children are the Future, this we really need to understand. If our world is going to be safe and filled with love they can only learn this from us and God. Help them to stand strong, stand up for their rights.
                         TEACH THEM TO LOVE!

Faith, Hope and Charity

Faith and hope through angels and men,
no charity, no meaning.
I'll learn many things concur all.
Without charity I will fall.
With love, lifes's well spent.
I now abide the commandments.
Give to the poor, a body to burn,
without charity, nothings learned.
Offers all, does'nt dwell on itself,
gives love, not of thineself.
Always upholds and sees all,
never disappears, always stands tall.
Grow wise, learn many things,
the most important is what God brings.
This love I speak of you'll see,
is that which God calls Charity.

Resurrection of Jesus Christ

Jesus was crucified,

many called Him the King of Jews.

For this He would surely die,

those telling their only King of this news.

Jesus was stripped naked, wore a crown of thorrns,

stake nails driven into Him, feeling so worn.

After hanging from the cross for six hours,

His spirit gave in, Jesus was dead.

Laid in a tomb to rest, a rock covered his dying bed,

once again the only King had his powers.

Darkness suddenly covered the land,

Jesus' spirit had given in.

A great earthquake shook so grand,

tombs opening, rocks splitting.

This event was on the third day,

thinking Jesus no longer alive.

Tombs opening brought the Holy ones alive to stay,

an Angel appeared in Bright White.

This is what the Angel had to say,

"Jesus has Risen, see the tomb I am right."

Women ran to the tomb to see,

surely they were amazed.

The tomb was empty,

shouting, shocked as they gazed.

They repeated what the Angel had said,

"Jesus has Risen," as others were near.

While on their way to tell disciples Jesus appeared,

the women were stunned running through the street.

Jesus said, "Do not fear,"

as the women fell kissing his feet.

Jesus spoke, "Tell my brothers, to go to Galilee,

all along Jesus appeard while disciples prayed.

He appeared to them by the sea,

eyes agazed their they stayed.

Jesus spoke, "I am the life and Resurrection,

in me ye shall believe."

"He whosoever takes salvation,

will forever live with me."

"Come time for you to be called home,

do not fear or think twice."

"Forever you shall surely roam,

with me in Paradise."

Soldiers of the Usa

Forces of the United States,
read the list and see.
Just exactly what it takes,
of men and women with bravery.
Men of the Air Force in the sky,
watch over troops as they march by.
Marines on the shores were they land,
enter combat hand in hand.
Navy men on the seas,
arm their ships in the breeze.
Riding the waves oh so high,
keeping on course on the rough ride.
Men in combat in the Army,
dedicated to protect from the enemy.
The Coast Guard watch over shores,
leaving no open sea doors.
Green Beret take the test,
Silver Wings earned, their America's Best.
Stars and stripes wave each day,
freedom from Soldiers of the U.S.A.!
           "God Bless our Soldiers"

Four Seasons

Don't sit inside and wear a frown,
go outside see what is found.
Gaurenteed you won't be bored,
the four seasons will be adored.
Winter for Christmas, Spring brings flowers,
all that grows loves warm showers.
Summer we swim and get lean,
fall brings a Boo on Halloween.
No matter what time of the year,
the four seasons are enjoying and dear.
So Winter, Spring, Summer and Fall,
these great seasons complete all.

Ya Gotta Believe

New of sadness once again heard,
another hero gone.
Ya Gotta Believe were his famous words,
from Tug McGraw's throne.
No other could where the crown,
what a ball he could throw.
Not a better pitcher to be found,
all of his fans do know.
A hope and courage award you received,
a warrrior and fighter.
We'll never forget, Y a Gotta Believe,
you've made our stadium brighter.
Now you're life is put to rest,
God show him his path please.
This great man has passed the test,
in 1980 he won the world series.
Wei'll say goodbye, to this one so tall,
in our eyes we see.
God made his call to Tug McGraw,
remember, "Ya Gotta Believe.

What Music Brings

What music brings is a very good question,
people can make it bring a connection.
Music at times can sure make you glow,
but sometimes it can make you feel low.
Think of a wedding and the music that plays,
so many combinations in so many ways.
Music can bring a slow mellow grace,
and sometimes it swings and picks up the pace.
Music can also have great pizzazz,
you'll know what I mean if you've ever heard Jazz.
Music can also unravel some clues,
if you carefully sit and listen to Blues.
Music can even knock off your socks,
especially when it begins to Rock.
Music to some can seem like a flop,
you know what I mean if you don't like Pop.
Music can sometimes make you feel tall,
especially if you like Classical.
Now a days some folks will ask,"what gives?"
They just do not like the new Alternative.
Heavy metal is another kind,
some like it and others will leave it behind.
When music is slow you just glide with the flow,
it just seems to be nice and mellow.
When music picks up it's pace,
we dance around as though in a race.
Music can also seem complicated,
because it is over or under rated.
We sit and we listen day in and day out.
we wonder what music is all about.
We listen to people sing of their lives,
we learn of all of their truths and lies.
Music can be heard anywhere, at work, home, church or a fair,
It seems to touch our lives everyday everywhere.
Even at play it's just always there,
it seems like a must just like breathing air.
From children to old folks we all seem to care,
because there is music everywhere.

A Hope Memory Tribute Bob Hope

In our lives you were forever,
to make us cry, no never.
So many things that you did,
you made us all feel like a kid.
Every word you ever spoke,
somehow turned into a joke.
A special gift you had somehow,
I guess God must need it now.
He sent you to Angels above,
remember it's you we'll always love.
If it was loose, you would tighten the rope,
after all you were Bob Hope.
We're all so grateful for all you gave,
the crazy ways you would behave.
So may I say from many,
   "Thanks for the Memory!"

Tarzan the Jungle Ape Man

Living in he jungle, no fear to hold,
fighting, always standing bold.
Piloting in the breeze,
swinging on vines through the trees.
His best friends, the creatures there,
to each other they are fair.
As the great one echoes his call,
these creatures, in line they fall.
Ready to help in time of need,
lining up for their great stampede.
How this hero came to be,
left behind in the jungle was he.
Just an infant, unable to escape,
knowing his mother as an ape.
Learning ways of the animals,
imitating their amazing calls.
Suddenly a woman one day came,
becoming his mate, that was Jane.
The king of beasts is Tarzan,
not a Lion, but an Ape Man.
