Sweet Sister of Mine

Sweet sister of mine,
I'll let you see my scars.
Our lonely, abandoned comfort zone.
Lets cut out the stars
and bleed out the galaxy.
Feeling maggot brained,
going as fast as a machine gun.
I'm ready to go
on the bathroom floor.
Others never knew,
others never cared.
Will you ever
Bleed Like Me?
Being normal is something we'll never be.
Normally insane,
we just can't pretend.
Razor blade sisters,
others will never be able to comprehend.

There's Nothing That Separates Me From the Rest-Part 2

I used to think love was a serious mental disease, but that was all in the past.
I decided to test loves waters one more time, keeping my floaties close by.
You might not like what you see, when you see the real me.
I've been lost in the dark for awhile.
But i really think you'll be the one to save me.
Please be patient.
And keep your heart warm.
All of my insecurities could eat me alive.
I hope you'll stay and i hope you don't mind.
I'm nothing perfect, none of us are.
Don't get me wrong, I'm nothing but flaws.
I'll get emotional at times and I'll be a little hard to handle.
You held my hand and guided me through the dark.
A light begins to show and i begin to see more clearly.
There's a girl that looks bruised and beaten, but there's something very different.. a sparkle of hope brings out her warm brown eyes.
She cant help but to smile, while holding back tears of joy.
I watched the smiling, radiant girl and my jaw starts to drop.
That girl, she's me.
"I made it"
 i thought
"i made it".
I thought I'd never see the day..
i used to be a sad and lonely girl that had nothing left to lose.
A nameless girl, the faceless girl..
The tracked up,
beaten up, doped up
sight of a girl that just wanted to end her tears, her pains and her darkest fears now has the world at her finger tips.
I'm a happy girl, radiating with joy and so much love to give.
I'm slowly beginning to chip away at the wall that's been hiding me for many years. You're standing beside me, smiling while you begin to help.
Together, taking down the wall that's taken thousands of tears to build.
When the wall is gone and my wounds are healed..
when my tears are dried and my head is clear..
when you can see the real me, with nothing to hide, i hope you'll decide to stick around for awhile.
Besides, I think you might actually like me.
It's kinda nice, this being happy thing.
It sure feels like home to me.
I want to face my fears with you, i want to face my dreams with you..
thank you for helping me find my way back home.

Something In the Way

It was something in the way you looked at me.
No, not just any look..
A look of complete empathy.
I knew you understood me,
 even with words unsaid,
you still knew.
It's something in the way you make me forget..
Forget about the harsh, cold, tasteless world that surrounds us.
Its something in the way you make me feel.
You're like a drug,
you numb me.
For a few quick moments I can put faith back into humanity,
truly believing that there is a benevolent society out there waiting for me,
but it's something in the way you walk away that makes the dream pass.
It's the unknowing of your intentions that keeps me afraid,
but it's the feeling of wholeness you present me with that reassures me,
that you're the real thing.
I know this is just the beginning,
but it's something in the way you've already touched my heart that let's me know I still have one..
That it's still beating,
and that it will be easy to repair.
All I need is your presence because there's something in the way you are that makes me feel complete.
You're everything I've been waiting for.
