Kuleza John Lembi Poem
Where did we go wrong?
What didn’t we do right?
To be victims of your torture
From a woman we were born
Our body, has bones not gold
What we have is not fuel, but a river of blood
Our homes we have now deserted
In caves we now hid
Hiding from a fellow human being
Why oh why
Tears are washing away our happiness
You have soaked our hearts in sorrow
So early you have sent our relative to grave
What offense did we commit?
That you no longer see us as important citizens
But charm to feed your pockets
Why have u buried your warm hearts
Why have you underrated our lives?
That you now exchange it with money?
Crying out loud!!!!!!!!
Tears of an albino
God have mercy on albinos

Kuleza John Lembi Poem
Dwelling in them, a soft hearted soul
Love plated but pain on its core
Moss covered mountains to cross
Full of merciless piercing stones
Mind invested into a battle of memories
Battle with horrible images of courses in diaries
Both ends candles are burnt
To light the way through the six hills of torment
Flooding down cheeks are tears
Shaking rough hands of lamenting songs
Injecting the venom of fear into the spirits
Made to be passed, though hurting beyond limits
Journey of a medical student
Like a terrifying flood to expose the hidden gold

Kuleza John Lembi Poem
With his back lying on a torn mat
Consuming the thoughts of tomorrow
Gazing at its fruit
Heavy was the mind to lift
His heart burned in sorrow
Darkness took over the light
How it would be for the tender souls?
How they wished to remove the yoke
Orphanage was not a joke
So interesting were the nights
The nights of folktales
Tears we could shade in dreams
The sober minds conquered
conquered with complicated dreams
A hard morning to believe
With a darkest shadow
What a sorrow departure he had
Never to return

Kuleza John Lembi Poem
Why couldn’t you roar?
Silently you tiptoed
What attracted you in that slim tender bull?
To mercilessly made her widow
In an orphanage yoke tied us
Why hiding the motive so deep
Were the five strokes of torture not enough?
But to snatch him away from us
What wrong did he do?
What didn’t he do right to punish him so severe
You have eroded our courage with fear

Kuleza John Lembi Poem
In the deep veins of her corridors
Flow thick blood of academic Excellency
Dwelling in the hearts of her blocks
Is the dream to serve the nation
Patiently we had to wait
for the lovely and beautiful expectant UNIMA.
To give birth to her, the giant of the land.
The fourth labor of mother UNIMA
Yielded this bouncing baby of the warm heart of Africa
Standing still with her pillars in the armpit
The armpit of great Masauko Chipembere highway
She is the real reason. The reason,
Why Malawi swims in the deep rivers of Africa.
Across the borders raising its flag in the white man’s land
We have never imagined that there can be this day.
A day that joy and celebrations will find their way.
Out of our minds and into every corridor of hers.
Tears of happiness flowing down the cheeks of Blantyre
The day when every institution trembles with fear
Bowing down to this great conqueror of the land
Crowning her as the great Queen
With her kingdom celebrating 25 years of victory
The silver jubilee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Kuleza John Lembi Poem
With soil you now one
Now gone never to return
None to wipe my tears
Flooding down my cheeks
You were healing my wounded heart
With comfort
You filled my frustrated mind
Flower withers
Death overtakes life
Now that you are gone
I lose the grave wins
Above the sky
Heading heaven you are now
May your soul rest in peace
NB: in loving memory of my best friend Innocent

Kuleza John Lembi Poem
With a terrifying water flow
The gang of floods attacked her happiness
Pierced thorns into the muscles of her joy
In a twinkling of an eye
To the grave
Her two beloved daughter were wedded
The merciless scorpion of the society
Injected into her heart
The venom of sadness
Her family baptized in worries
From the east the sun rose
Her withered flower brightened
The third labor of her womb
Relieved her frustrated mind……
……………………to be continued…..
Based on true story

Kuleza John Lembi Poem
In a twinkling of an eye
The hearts melted, in my eyes sparked your beauty
Never could a breath be held
So strong was my love for you
Very nice moments we cherished
Night seemed morning
No dark could overcome the light of your beauty
With the birth of years
Like the withering of the flower
Our love faded, the bond broke
Never again in the field
Time had to reveal, same could actions do
Bright gold is your face
Your heart the hurting stone
Never again in the field, the field of love !!!!!

Kuleza John Lembi Poem
Dear murderers,
With tears eroding the pimples of our cheeks
We write again to you heartbroken
In a joyful union we used to live together
With your sweet stories we felt secure
But why now? Why mother Africa
Your minds now corrupted
Hungry for money but no care for life
Our lives have no value to you?
That you switch it off to feed you pockets?
Is it a curse to be deprived of melanin?
What do you harvest from our weak bones?
Does our blood flow inside diamonds?
Darkness has befallen our families
No longer a sweet homeland to us
But a jungle full of hungry lions
But why now? Why mother Africa
How big is our crime that you can’t forgive?
How unforgivable, that you sentence us to death?
Where have you burred your merciful hearts?
Our necks are so heavy with the yoke
This burden is not a joke
With chains you have tied our happiness
Our freedom thrown to grave
To you we look upon
With your love we were born
Our bodies have no gold, but hollow bones
Save us God from these money hungry ritualists
Yours,
Innocent Albinos

Kuleza John Lembi Poem
With tears eroding smiles off my face
To u I humbly write this letter in sadness
Only if you can read
On a fateful heart breaking day
Face covered in blood you left us in dismay
Only if you had known
Blood sugar tied you in a death yoke
Helpless and hopelessly captured in orphanage hook
We couldn’t only if you were with us
But why couldn’t you wait for a grand daughter
Sad not to see your first seed as a great doctor
Only if you knew so early basket you couldn’t kick
In a darkest home down the grave you now dwell
Badly missed why for once you don’t say hello
Only if you are capable
We lost, to the dead dad you now belong
Always remembered despite time being so long
A decade gone, continue resting in peace
