Lorenthia Clayton Poem
You're kind of silly, and quiet too
You smell like chili and bird poo
This poem seems mean but its really nice
I hear your room is full of mice
Your hair is curly like my favorite fries
You've got booger brains in your eyes
Okay Ill stop now you're really my friend
& this poem has come to an end!

Lorenthia Clayton Poem
So much stress doing this on my own.
But it's chest out, chin up, Continue moving along.
No time for the pity parties once you're facing your fears.
Yet some nights my face is buried in a pillow full of tears.
I didn't ask for this, I mean none of us really do.
But the reality is we seen the signs, we just chose to ignore the truth.
Mommy's baby Daddy's maybe, or so the saying goes.
& yet we move on in stride not thinking twice, knowing they'll reap that which is sowed.
No need to try to "stick it to em' ya know, hit em where it hurts.
See the load is heavy indeed, but we can't focus on the pain.
The point of convergence should always be on what's ahead to gain.
A Lesson learned from the mistakes made, waking us up like alerts.
Gotta let it go, & keep moving.
Yeah it's a difficult task...
But we're not alone, the help is there.
We simply have to ask.
Pray the stress away, let is fall right off your shoulders.
He's waiting to take the pain, just simply hand it over.
& Keep Moving...

Lorenthia Clayton Poem
When I first met ya felt chemistry between you and I
Chopped it up, chilled a bit we just vibed
But my mind was somewhere else
low-key was trippin
Tryna rush back 2 him, yeah I was slippin
Our conversation had me thinkin just contemplating
Possibilities on my mind how i been waiting
Waiting for something real someone I can trust
Not the usual motivated by cash and lust
Long convos got me thinking about an us
So much in common got me wondering where u been,
where we can go, you know be more than friends
I'm dissin dudes no competition cause you're my focus
Say you're chillen wit different women that ish is bogus
Don't wanna seem like I’m sprung just want you to myself
& all that went out the window now that u got someone else

Lorenthia Clayton Poem
Happiness is...
Waking up in the morning renewed each day
The sun peeking through the blinds, illuminating your face.
Happiness is,
Looking in the mirror and adoring the reflection looking back
Loving all the flaws and areas of slack
Happiness is,
Following your dreams, transforming them into your reality
An unrelenting urge to reach your destiny
Happiness is
Whatever you decide to find your happiness in,
Just remember that it doesn't come from things but from deep within...
