Jet Gauiran Poem
Inside a cocoon, a heart lays with story untold
Countless times, it attempted to unfold
But the walls within to it, viciously holds
Such is a selfish shade of love
That puts its gains all above

Jet Gauiran Poem
Cast your gaze into thine eyes and utter thy pledge
Unperturbed devotion and honeyed passion to my knowledge
Let these arms, around you wrap
Until our time on earth is up
While light and darkness intertwined and collapse

Jet Gauiran Poem
Your flamboyant of a heart is of glass shards and ice
That stings like frostbite and slices like a vice
To your prey, everything seems like a perfect price
A beautiful contagion that swathes but smothers
Expels lucidness or causes demise amongst others

Jet Gauiran Poem
Let me count the ways
The number of times my heart has gone astray
Oh how my stomach ties into knots
While something blocks my think box
Whenever you are near, it’s your voice I hear

Jet Gauiran Poem
It must have been love – or so I thought
When pain was all your teasing eyes and utterance have caused
This musing heart of mine doesn’t learn a thing
That even the sweetest device can be debilitating
Just like a tooth, from chocolates, end up aching

Jet Gauiran Poem
As twilight turns to dawn, something brings to memory
Of lovers’ laughter, hate, and banter out of spree
Like daylight, warm are the smiles and colorful as a prism
And as moonlight taints their skin, bodies go feverish in paroxysm
But they are now just in dreams, only in dreams
