Floridian Rat

Big armadillo
invading my privacy
you are a leper

Big Pillow

Did you ever fall into a puffy big fluffy pillow,
Greeting your back as gravity commands you
And wraps around your entirety?

That moment where all you see is cushion:
Soft and safe is all that you feel
And you hear the rush of air passing you by.

For an instant there is nowhere else,
There is nowhen else, time has stopped
And you wish the moment would never end.

But all too soon you are aware
That you still lie among chaos
And you pretend the pillow is your shield.

Jumping from pillow to pillow
Tring to hide from the world
And you know it’s not real

I wish I could only hear the rush of air passing me by,
My vision obscured by the comforting cocoon
And to feel someone wrapped around me.

Poo-Pourri

As you see we have no Febreze
Butt cover your smell if you please
Just spritz three or four times
Then release by design
and the next person won't say "Jeeze!"

Tactile Tension

bodies touching
ever so lightly:
wanting more

Father Daughter Date Nights

The end of this road is near.
But have you not a fear.
We shall continue through the year,
just me and my little dear.
For this and every year,
our communication more clear.
This accomplishment we cheer,
and spare not a tear,
for our path has become clear
and distance we did spear.

Yellow Tinted Windows- a palindrome

this is a poem that reads the same forward and backwards transitioning in the middle. the setting is inside of a yellow corvette with yellow tinted windows.

You view yellow,
feel sensation.
Is energy floating freely?
Wrapped in ebony leather,
reflecting road is behind.
Vroom Vroom
behind is road
reflecting leather ebony.
In wrapped
freely floating
energy is sensation.
Feel yellow,
view you

Dad, haiku triplet

Sea foam wash my feet:
Let me sink into the earth
My heels then my toes

Gentle breeze kiss me
So I may feel your majesty,
Whisper in my ear

He rests on a stone
Awaiting to join the sea-
I love you Dad

Goodbye Nana -Haiku triplet-

Sea foam wash my feet:
Let me sink into the earth
My heels then my toes

Gentle breeze kiss me
So I may feel your majesty,
Whisper in my ear

Hands held on the shore
She holds me as the sea comes-
I love you Nana

Roman Soldier

Gentle breezes blow across my face
as I gaze endlessly down the steep precipice.
Strangely the forces of nature are kind
when I am about to die.

Blood stained stone behind me marks death.
Death for Jesus who hanged on the cross.
Murderers and robbers alike must die here.
I hanged them all with pride and vigilance.
Time spares no mercy for these,
extracting life slowly and painfully.

Vindication of this crime receives death only.
My position compels me to vindicate.
Hypocrites have no post in life,
I must die.

Lurching towards my death I see a man.
Beaten and bruised, he reaches out to save me.
"Why do you stop me from justice?"
"Let not your flesh die; however,
die to your flesh and you will be vindicated."

Fallen branches
Dead flower litter
A lizard hides
