Gone

I can't sleep, I can't stop thinking.
The only time I can, Is when I start drinking.
Drinking away the pain, sipping away the sorrow.
The confusion of not knowing about our love tomorrow.
Why me. why us? Because I tried too hard?
Now you're just a friend, a passerby, a neighbor in the yard.
You ask that I not text or call, that I'm just a nuisance,
How we got here, honestly makes no sense.
So I'm done, I can't take the devastation, I'm gone,
Guzzle guzzle, until the pain subsides, and I can move on.
