Two cats,
All they do is fight.
Chase each other every day.
Claw, hiss, blood is drawn.
Settle. The daily brawl is done.
Now we stare out the window,
absorbing the sun as the birds fly by.
Our tales slam to the ground.
We ready to pounce on the unsuspecting prey,
only to find we are blocked by a glass window.

Emotions begin to flow
Should I stay here
Should i go for a drink
The couch envelops me with its soft warmth
The outside beckons with its mystery
Potential of meeting new people
New stories, new faces
This will be another night alone

She wants a break.
He wants another chance.
She is afraid to be alone.
He doesn't love her anymore.
She wants to be with another.
He can't stand the thought of her being with anyone else.
She feels the embrace of another.
He drinks into a depression.
She cries to the stars.
He moves out.
She is betrayed by her lover.
He finds another.
She is silent.
He is in love again.
She calls upon him for forgiveness.
He wants to be without her.
She tries to restore the flame.
He feels her embrace again.
She realizes a mistake has been made.

Messages are sent
Neither is satiated
The evening ends
