Little Bill

There once was a fellow named Bill
Who like cherry, and lime, and plum pills
He ate everyday
So his mother would say
"You eat too much. Bring out the drill."

Alone

Scary
             Frightened
             Watchful
             Coldest
Not even a single kid is here
The room is black, no one is at home
I stay so still, not daring to roam

Straight To Her Head

The ball flew straight ahead
Smacking her right in the head

I pitched it to her
It came so fast, it happened in a blur

She sniffled in pain
As I thought in my brain,

I could have said, "Head's up!" or "Watch out!"
But I watched as the coach said, "Timeout!"

My face turns red, I feel ashamed
I knew I didn't aim

I forget to say sorry
I think she thought I was angry

I see it in my dreams
And sometimes in daydreams

I and I will never forget
How we both were so upset

The Girl Next To Me

T is for talented, never a flaw
H is for heroic, a hero herself
E is enchanting, people fall in her spell

G is for graceful, always smooth like a sheet of ice
I is for intellegent, always an A on her test
R is for rare, only one of her forever
L is for likeable, the most popular girl in the grade

Turkey

T is for talented, can gobble and gobble and gobble
U is for underfed, won't taste good, scrawny
R is for regal, feathers fluffed up and holding waddle up high
K is for keen, too eager
E is for earnest, long face and won't give a small gobble or laugh
Y is for youthful, too young too die!

Forever Gone

One last sad goodbye
You're standing there still afraid
       I tell you it's fine
Soon you'll cross your obstacles,
 Just you'll be forever gone

At the Top of a Mountain

Up here, on the top
Things I've never seen before,
I want to stay here
Perhaps forever, who knows
Alone, right here, so happy
