Playing With Jealousy

A boy and a girl
The best of friends
From elementary to high school
From beginning to end

Through all those years
Their friendship grew
They both felt the same
But neither knew

Each waking moment
Since the day the met
They both loved each other
Sunrise to sunset

He was all she had
In her horrible life
He was the one who
Kept her from her knife

She was his angle
She made him smile
Though life threw him curves
She made it worth while

Then one day
Things went terribly wrong
The next few weeks
Were like a sad song

He made her jealous
On purpose, he tried
When the girl asked “Do you love her,”
On purpose, he lied

He played with jealousy
Like it was a game
Little did he know
Things would never be the same

His plan was working
But he had no clue
How wrong things would go
The damage he would do

One night, she broke down
Feeling all alone
Just her and her blade
No one else home

She dialed his number
He answered, “Hello,”
She told him she loved him
And hung up the phone

He raced to her house
Just a minute too late
She was laying in blood
Her heart had no rate

Beside her was a note
In it, her confession
Her love for this guy
Her only obsession

As he read the note
He knelt down and cried
He picked up her knife and
That night they both died

She was found in his arms
Both of them dead
Under her not
His handwriting said

“I loved her so
She never knew
All this time,
I loved her too…”

Self Mutilation

I'm gonna draw a picture
A picture with a twist
I'll draw it with a razor blade
I'll draw it on my wrist

As I draw this picture
A fountain will appear
And as that fountain flows
My troubles disappear

Same Old, Same Old

I hate the way you look at me
It reminds me what we used to be
But our love wasn't real
When I look at you
I can't control how I feel
You don't know how badly you hurt me
All I can think is "How could he?"
It was all a lie
The "I love you" and "Forever we'll be"
And yet I believed
Everything you said to me
I was your biggest regret
I just can't let go yet
I tried to change for you
But that wouldn't do
So I sit here and ask
"Why does it always seem
I always fall in love with someone
Who isn't in love with me?"

3 Simple Words

When I say "I Love You"
Do you understand
The true meaning of the words?
Of what's at hand?

That simply means
I'll do anything for you
And I'll be there
Through and through

To offer you help
Or give you a hand
Or just to listen
And understand

It means that I need you
More than you know
And I'm doing my best
To let it show

It means that I'm here
Hoping you see
That forever and always
Together we'll be

Here Forever

Tonight, there is no question
Of how strong our love is
Honest, loyal, and true
Your compassion is far greater than his

You should never be worried
Or have any doubts
For, you my love,
I cannot live without

I love you and need you
And I've made my mistakes
Just know that, to see you,
I'll do whatever it takes

I don't see him that way
And you mean the world to me
Just let me show you
And you will see

That when I tell you these things
I'm not cheating or lying
And though I make mistakes
Please know that I'm trying

And, in case you haevn't noticed,
I'm here for good
To love you and treat you
Just like I should

What You'Ve Done

What you did, what you've done
What you said, what I heard
What you taught me, what I learned
Oh how you loved, Oh how I hated
Oh how you said I would always regret it
How you screamed, how I cried
How I believed, how you lied
How you killed me, how I died
Do you love me? Do you not?
Forgive you? I cannot.

Only For the Moment

I lay to sleep
I dream of you
Then I wake up
But there's nothing I can do
I know it's unreal
I know you're not there
I try to remember
The moments we shared
Even though you're gone away
In my heart is where you'll stay

The Fun of Death

Sleepless nights
I lie wide awake
And I feel pain
With every breath i take
If i had known
That it would cost
All of this
For a little weight loss
I never would have
Agreed to let go
To give everything up
If only I had known
But it's too late now
To ever look back
To get all the things
That I now lack
This time I've fallen
And can't get back up
So I'm giving in
I've had enough
What happens, happens
I guess we'll see
If you were in my place
I think you'd agree
There's nothing to do now
Except sit back and wait
And sooner or later
I'll meet my fate
While I'm waiting
I think I'll do
All those things
I've always wanted to
I'll finally be me
For the last few months
And maybe have fun
Be normal for once

Forever Abandoned

wrists are severed
the deepest cuts are traced in red
so beautiful the seperation of her flesh from the razor
feeling a pain she's never known
like broken glass draining
 the blood that's running cold
she tasted eternity
it's kiss like a last goodbye
as she's taken herself from me
forever abandoned eyes held open,
the bitter taste of blood and sweat
 the emptiness the suffocates
a final breath, endless silence
that dulls the pain beneath her skin
 her vacant eyes
watching the blood that's running thin
she tasted eternity
its kiss like a last goodbye
she's taken herself from me
Forever Abandoned

Back Down Again

Snow began to fall
Come dusk lovely tangos
Wind and flake

Silent wisps growing bold
Wicked, relentless
Hinting winter’s random temper

Silver frosted morning
White landscape
Reflecting purple painted sky

Breath taking dazzling
Lifting me to heights
I’d never approached

But as Newton would opine
What goes skyward
Must surely crash
