Hesitation

The stiffening of a muscle
You stand still
You search for that will
But what if its lost

That moment of hesitation
From no action
People know, their words , they must ration
To prevent a crack in a heart unbroken

The seconds too late
The reason for a love unknown
Life being lived at a slower rate
Because of that slight hesitation

A life unlived
The no before the jump
A memory, lost in time
Leaving a a person unchanged
Leaving an event unmade

Repetition

The heart beats for those who dont know
You try to delete but they just wont go
So you sit, silently, mouth stitched shut and sow
The cracks come together again, leaving a scar
The damage is done but they dont know
The door you thought closed is always ajar

Then comes along the one who would never
They sit and they listen as if you are their forever
The heart doesnt mend but is renewed
The happiness, if only they knew

But then all is well once again
You go back for an expected surprise
This time can the heart mend
Being overwhelmed and bruised with the forever lies

Worth a Little More

Something that we latch onto
A better sense of judgement
The better thing to do
To make a good statement
Forgetting the heart
Watching others mistakes
This is when repetition starts
When souls tend to break

Could it be worth a little more
To think a bit further
To break it to its core
And let happiness gather

This has been done before
Again not learned
You have seen, witnessed the hurt it has in store
Leaving joined lives stained

Could it be worth a little more
A bit more thought
Open up a few more doors
Remember all this has brought

Instead, throw away
You blow out the light
grow too tired to stay
Too tired for that little fight

It was not worth a little more
Pain was growing
Couldn't offer more
Now your standards are lowering
Friends are growing
The depth, shallowing
Was it worth a little more?

Connection

It was good for that time
A connection that is known to all
Around the world it begins
When one meets another
And more than friendship starts

Time then passes
Laughter becomes a myth
Smiles become forced
Avoiding becomes a hobby

All then is lost
Another memory made
A time to be laughed about
A time to be forgotten

One meets another
But this time it's different
Time passes by
Effort not needed

Your heart races
Your breath stolen
Frowns become rare and
Laughs become overwhelming

You fall inlove
Losing him is not worth another
He is all you want
He is all you need

I Just Don'T Know

The heart beats for those who dont know
You try to delete but they just wont go
So you sit, silently, mouth stitched shut and sow
The cracks come together again, leaving a scar
The damage is done but they dont know
The door you thought closed is always ajar

Then comes along the one who would never
They sit and they listen as if you are their forever
The heart doesnt mend but is renewed
The happiness, if only they knew

But then all is well once again
You go back for an expected surprise
This time can the heart mend
Being overwhelmed and bruised with the forever lies
