Repetition

The heart beats for those who dont know You try to delete but they just wont go So you sit, silently, mouth stitched shut and sow The cracks come together again, leaving a scar The damage is done but they dont know The door you thought closed is always ajar Then comes along the one who would never They sit and they listen as if you are their forever The heart doesnt mend but is renewed The happiness, if only they knew But then all is well once again You go back for an expected surprise This time can the heart mend Being overwhelmed and bruised with the forever lies
