Bamboo

It must be the hottest summer
when a bamboo weave lays adrift,
a little stiff yet the motion
of its flowing body offers a dance
to the sun and moon that hides
the zing of heat---burning, breaking.

Fleeting Rain

Flavor of rain
herbal.....clear
like broth lingering
on the lips ,enticing
the tongue to sip
its limey brew--

relishing the texture
as its vapor titillates
one's senses---filling
the lungs with air--

And for a moment
time stands still
for a monsoon glide
as the hail seeps
inside the bones

reminding me how
sorrow can be fleeting
like the swift movement
of raindrops in a rush.

Seven For Chaos and Order-- Climate

Shifting from tanned morning when day sizzles To a quick invasion of noon’s rainfall—glassy wet — I walk on eggshells perplexed by the many moods of a climate When flighty nature leaves me burnt and doused without notice! While in this outrageous raid, my eyes track night-clouds To follow a star peeping its way out in blinks, Quieting my senses--rinsing wired tresses in moon streaks. On My Mind

And there it was,
somewhere along wreath of winds
I was brought to the lightest of ease.

Here, under the pour of this waterfall,
I wish to lay on glossy tracks
Tending fingers among the pebbles,
I marvel. This landscape of my mind.

Of this I wish to bring to you,
Or you to it.
Whomever it is that you might be.

A place, however far away-
The liquid trail lies clear, soothingly
Ahead of me.

Half-Moon

We follow the half-moon still drenched.
Our fused shadows--- eternity.
She breathes; inhaling our scent,
Embracing our glowed night…completely.

Salt of His Sea

Diving into the whorled
undercurrent of your passion,
a sizzling madness
greedily devours my aching need --
Caught in the under- toe
of your magnetic current,
my trembling body drips
in ecstasies within a water's bed.

Eagerly riding the tide of lust
through a liquid love,
I drown in your throbbing swell --
the moss, musk of a male's salty sea.
Waves of pure rapture explore
a heart, fancy ,and gurgles
unleashing laps from paddles
the circles of rolling intensity.

Sing To Me

sing to me, windchimes
of eventide's lullaby
beneath dim shadows

when dragonflies reel
farther from the horizon
my soul needs music

Dreaming

I seem to catch a gentle tune
As singing dreams wait for the moon,
And twilight strums the distant wires
To tempt those astral silver fires,

Until at last they paint the land
So that the dreams will understand,
That life is such an endless stream
And it will come to every dream.

Rainfall Trembles

trembling rainfall
pounds amidst the moonlight soft--
grasses dancing.

Answering Your Query

Shall I but relish every song
Of laughter graced from folks I meet;
Those lifetime tunes that chime along.

The dreamer in me sparks a way
For cares and trials, far from harm
Believing that hope lilts each day!
