Fleeting Rain
Flavor of rain
herbal.....clear
like broth lingering
on the lips ,enticing
the tongue to sip
its limey brew--
relishing the texture
as its vapor titillates
one's senses---filling
the lungs with air--
And for a moment
time stands still
for a monsoon glide
as the hail seeps
inside the bones
reminding me how
sorrow can be fleeting
like the swift movement
of raindrops in a rush.
