Soph Rose Poem
A faction of three benches
Anchored at the face of the curbside
Woodend and blemished as an old ruined diary after years of worn
Glimmering light that breathes life
Slate gray glistens on the surface
Illuminating each element of beauty held in this city
Enchanting the street lights stand
Black iron who twists and coil high above
A podium these flames of light settle
A song that is hummed by the radiant glow
Allocated on a marble pedestal they shine
The travelers, they are roaming ants
Out searching for a destination, with no place to hide
With only happiness as a terminal longing to be reached
Hold close to the Disney enchantment this city carries
A Gothic cathedral poised tall and handsome Hear the mellow swallow of the bells echoing in the tour
Cloaking and dancing through the picturesque streets
Electrifying one’s veins as if a virgin to the sound
Yellow is the mood
Who brightens all’s hearts
Felt within the streets and the sky
Excitement entrenched entirely within the medieval streets
Allurement lingers in the air
Eyes and hearts entangled in this city’s charm
Bringing light to Marienplatz sitting on archway crutches
Admiring the ones down below with twinkles in their eyes
Never ending is the streets
In a big city with tantalizing taste
A dream this rare city can be to the modern folk
Oh to what do we owe to such a captivating aura of a city?
