Bailey Weiss Poem
I often sit up and ponder
My mind free to wonder,
Of a future not too yonder
Where under life’s thunder;
Nature is free to plunder!
But through man’s magic
The events aren’t tragic.
In one way fantastic
Yet, in another drastic!
Would you be nostalgic?
As I lie in my hibernation
I envision your visitation
Hear the rhetorical conversation,
Or, is that a vivid hallucination
From my present desolation
I might be feeling alone
Maybe just, a hormone?
What is my current tone?
To you it seems unknown.
It's one that calls for home!
When nature is free to plunder,
Would you, for me, be nostalgic?
When I feel desolation
Would you call me home?
Into your arms!

Bailey Weiss Poem
The scariest part of life?
When it's rife with strife?
No! Your footing is levelled -
So after you've wrestled
Conflict is settled
here is in my opinion,
A ruler of fear dominion:
When you peer
Into eyes so insincere;
You name them foe.
Deep in their dark glow
You see the reflection
hat upon its detection
You think self-portrait!
But they aren't the hornet
You tried so hard to mask
