Music

Blasting through my earbuds
I cancel people out
If I ever need to scream&shout
I could always make you louder
The melody soothes me
The drums control me
I forget the trouble in the world.
So thank you music
For being there.
You can help
If I need to cry or scream
I couldn't live without the music
That fills my ears
And my heart.

Introducing Me

There are people at my school
slightly different then the others
they are the only ones
who shine their own colors

They laugh like us
They cry like us
but they never
create a huge fuss

They are different
they are proud
they are the ones
in their own crowd

I am like them
so i say
i am different
every day

What a Star Is

Stars make me happy
Stars fill me with laughter
Stars make night-seeking fun
Stars can bring the jokester out of all of us

Stars remind us of our sadness
Stars represent all lives lost
Stars sometimes make us frown
Stars sometimes make us glum

Stars make us calm
Stars are peaceful
Stars make us relax
Stars are soothing

Stars are inspiring
Stars are amazing
Stars are like humans because,
Stars are different

Stars Are Beautiful

Stars are beautiful
They represent all the lives lost
Stars are incredible
They come with no cost

You are just like a star
You took all my heart
You are just like
A priceless piece of art

You aren’t like a star
You are one
You shine just
As bright as the sun

Love and stars
Are nothing alike
But it is as easy
As riding a bike

Love is not easy
Love is not hard
But one thing for certain
It will take you so far

Even if I’m there or not
The stars will bring us together
The stars will bind us
Together forever

Stars

Stars
By. Madisyn Jackson

The stars are bright eyes
Of the ones of the past
But happiness fills me
Looking up in the sky

I see the twinkling lights
Of the night sky
But nothing makes me feel better
Than see my life, my eyes, my past

Thank you for bringing me happiness
When I am so down
Nothing can put my smile upside down

Stars, Stars, Stars
The kings of the night
The twinkling of stars makes me feel
Like Christmas all year
Thank you for always being there

The Past Is Never Forgotten

Mistakes are meant to be made
They are inevitable
Some are small
Like the little white lie
but some mistakes can define you
the bleeding lines
the empty pill bottles
and your never going to stop the remembrance
your listener says that your family will forgive you
but they never look at you the same
your listener says they take time]
time isn't something i have
but they don't understand
the past isn't forgotten
I wont
until someone saves you
and you try to tell them
but there as oblivious as your listener
and you thought your mistakes
would leave you
but the past wont be forgotten
or full of forgiveness

Glass

Ive never been to great at expressing my feeling
but after what ive been through
ive realized that im just glass
i sit there everyday and people look right through and act like im invisible because im just not important.

Why do you notice me now?
Is it because im broken
ive been shattered
is it because you finally took the time to pretend to care.
Its like "Oh wow shes lost her mind lets try to help her when shes basically broken"

I'm also not like glass.
You cant just take a piece of duct tape and say all better now to a sheet of glass.
you cant just fix it.
I cant fix glass...
i can fix me.

Now that i'm just a cracked an chipped piece of glass,
i see how broken everyone else is.
The girl who thought was your friend but really was a two-timing jerk,
shes just as broken as you
the boy that you thought had has lie together
hes on the verge of shattering himself.

I am glass

and so are you.
