The Past Is Never Forgotten

Mistakes are meant to be made
They are inevitable
Some are small
Like the little white lie
but some mistakes can define you
the bleeding lines
the empty pill bottles
and your never going to stop the remembrance
your listener says that your family will forgive you
but they never look at you the same
your listener says they take time]
time isn't something i have
but they don't understand
the past isn't forgotten
I wont
until someone saves you
and you try to tell them
but there as oblivious as your listener
and you thought your mistakes
would leave you
but the past wont be forgotten
or full of forgiveness

So true. I may have moved on and found happiness but my scars will always let people know who I used to be. You can never truly let go of the pain that you go through.
