Emotional Illusion

I am entirely devoted to maintaining my sanity,
My body and soul is suffering from sever exhaustion.
Teenage hormones amplifies conflict severity to what its not,
I am told my life isn't bad, others are worse, so what?
Are all my feelings just an illusion, just a misconception?
Do all my experiences amount merely to a web of lies,
One in which I am the helpless fly caught on a thread,
Continuously struggling and pulling, only to further constrict
While in actuality all I had to do was wake up from my dream.

Taken

The sound of dripping
was not of tears, but of her blood.
Thick scarlet drops, create a pool,
spreading to my quivering hands.
Kneeling, I stared in disbelief,
the lively face, now ashen.
Her glassy eyes seared into,
the very essence of my sanity.

Him

The warm, gentle touch of his hands on my cheek,
renders me speechless, under the spell of his gaze,
as if peering into my soul were of a simple matter,
slowly overtaking every doubt, I once held within.

Frozen Memory

The breathtaking view of soft falling crystals,
glimmering when caught in the morning rays,
provokes bitter-sweet nostalgia- though I know,
we are in the time of now, they will forever linger.

I Dont Know

Desperately trying to discard all of who I was but,
I have no clue who I am, my thoughts are clashing,
memories replay but I cant tell how to perceive them,
what am I supposed to do, did I do what was best- no.
I don't know. If I did what was right, why am I here crying,
questioning fruitlessly, the plant seems to be poisoned,
each branch withers away but forever remains till taken.
Tears drop as thoughts morph into code- what do I do?

Cold Shoulder

Standing in the cold, staring off into the distance,
I feel that I am not alone, though inside I know,
a warm hand will not be placed on my shoulder,
that will not be my comfort today, always never.

Betrayed

Happy memories have me grimacing,

Beloved friend I would have given all for,

Unmercifully plunged a stake into my heart,

Relishing my every labored gasp for air,

Replaying each moment of my agony,

Trembling, I mouth the word "why,"

Staring into my horrified eyes, she laughed.

Lust

The sweet tickle of the fleeting whisper upon my ear,
sends wave like sensations of heat through my body,
like a drop, adding to the pool of accumulated desire.

Spell It Out

There is a saying being that- a single tear is worth a thousand words.
Now if only the water that has been dropped upon this page could just,
turn into letters, thus spelling out the reason behind them being shed.

What Do You Seek

With a single hand, you grip the edge of this cliff,
look down into that pit- my dear, that is your despair.
Is the strength in my hand what you truly seek now?
Or might you rather close your eyes and just let go.
Now know you must have the will to hold tight for,
I may just leave you there to hang, to weaken- despite
your plea, do your words really speak for your feelings?
