Innocence

Clear night, beckons youthful lovers
To a meadow lush and silky green
Amorous wafts twirling beneath the stars
That shimmer, above this glamorous seen.

Whiffs,
Refreshing and scented
Heavenly lilies…

Angels dancing to a beautiful sight
Gossip and laughter sparks of light
The moon then said
Before she fled
These are secrets of the night.

Sighs
Of love
Merging with silence
Harmony compelling them to be
One, in the arms of each other’s company
Not two, not separate, angelic forms, sweet love making…

The mist soon glides stealthily
As though a blanket covering a holy act
Aroma of perfume mixed with bodily perspiration
Fills the air with redolence of innocence
What a delight!
But the night is almost over
First light in sight!

Candle Light

To the whistle of a gentle draft,
Her dance is a fascination
Charming the eyes of the beholder, in a trance
Up, down, side to side, without slump
Where has she learned this set?
Is she bewitched by an elegant spirit?
Or just happy that we’ve met!
Such moves! Such glamour!
Dancing alone on placid tide

Self Reflection

When you walk into my world
You test your own love
By your own self!
If you want to stay, stay!
If you want to go, go!
My waters will not ripple…!
But should you decide to stay!
I will tell you what love means,
I will show you what love is,
I will teach you, how to walk on water!

Last Supper

Meaningful night, to him, a last
Take a moment and reflect
At this time in the past
What was found and what was lost

Poem of Creation

The greatest poem ever written,
The one unpublished yet! Unread!
The poet, fully aware
The hand frozen in mid air
The unmarked page waits anxiously…
The ward ready to declare
The voice speaks excitedly
Let there be light!
The pen begins to write…
And many years later,
Into the heart of that poem
All look and see nothing! Then wonder,
What had really been written!

A Cause For a Smile

It is days like this, when things make perfect sense
When nothing works,
When nothing moves,
When nothing happens…
Your face appears everywhere
Then things are seen from a wider lens
Suddenly, all is perfect
Everything works,
Everything moves,
Everything happens,
Exactly the way they’re supposed to…
I smile!

Now Or Never

Of all the honey we drink
The smallest of a bee sting
We immediately kill the bee
Is that fare?
Or is there really such a thing…
No matter how high we climb
A wrong step, we quickly fall
Sometimes back to the start
Sometimes, where doors are locked
Inside, a broken heart…
It seems, every endeavour
Big or small
A sting or a fall, awaits
A price to call
And it always goes like this
Either now or never…
Honey! Honey! I love the taste of you
But I am no bee killer.
I also love the climb
Unprepared, unconcerned for the fall
I venture vulnerable, and walk with fools
Without a smoker, robes or tools
For even though there is a price
Sitting idle won’t suffice
What comes must always go
But what counts, is only now.

Blink and Wink -1- Prioritising

Blink and Wink, were both wearing mink
On a lofty boat that was about to sink
Oh no they said
We’re going to be dead
We better hurry up and finish our drink

Blink and Wink -2- Left Bare

Well, Blink and Wink, survived the sinking ship
They took off their minks and cursed such a trip
They swam to the shore
Their muscles were sore
But now they were both, standing in the nip

Life

A bird, lands on a branch of a tree
Together they dance with joy and love

The bird says goodbye, then flies away
The branch waves her off.
