Less Than Human

You seek us out and then you destroy our lives
You come into our homes and fill our hearts with lies
For you know the condemnation we so gravely fear
but you carry on striking us until our blood releases tears

Abominations we are called and to your power we must yelled
Forced to marry the opposite S e x to prove that we are healed

why.....well because in your eyes we are less than human

Minority

One would think that the feeling of being a slave would create understanding
One would think that racism would die off and cease to overtake our surrounding
Equality has become but a faint memory buried with a man Africa once so greatly looked up to
Labels still floating around, separation amongst people. All subject to the race or ethnic group they belong to

Don’t you think there was a little furry passed with a law?
Just a little vengeance kneaded in, tables turned, no longer holding the short end of the straw?
So arose the system with a pretty name “Affirmative action”.
5-1 the number of bullets in the gun gradually making a subtraction

Acquiring our positions based on our skin colour instead of based upon or level of education
Supressing the “Suppressors” with lethal repercussions and lack of evaluation
So carry on placing the one colour above the other, turning us against each other until the streets run red with anarchy
Then hypocritically teach your kids about equality, living one foot in and one foot out of controversy.

One would think we as a nation would learn from a neighbouring sunken country. Stay united and grow far beyond expectation
One can only hope for these lines to be erased, for skin colour, gender and religion factors to be cancelled out and do away with exaggeration
The world is the way it is and shall remain as such, the universe will be the way it should be keeping the balance as top priority
So even if I cannot change the world. With my words I keep spreading the love! One of the minority.

Ladder of Dope

Its every person for himself, step on & step up kind of world.
That is what we are are taught, at the thought our lips become curled.
At first until it hurts, until we see that there is no remorse for the weak.
The concept grows stronger with every lash on the cheek.
Burning through our veins as we feel it seep.
Silence is golden, like syrup bitter sweet.

Survival of the fittest its you or its me.These are the values we to begin to teach.
We throw our morals & standards so far beyond our reach.
No thank you my humanity and my sanity that goes along with all of it i would like to keep.
Climbing up the ladder, stepping on those i used to dream with, nah.... that price seems a little steep

No rest for the wicked, shutting your eyes the guilt begins to creep.
I would rather rest my head, gaily counting little baked sheep.
I will keep spreading the love , i shall reap what i have sown.
And then gladly smoke what i have grown.

Blowing your concepts up in smoke.
You try to explain but you choke.
On the things that you have done.
Just to be the one on the power end of the gun.
It doesn't matter in the end you will be who you are , who you were that's it!
Not who you could have been or should have been. No! only who you are! No shit!

So even if you wanted to break free from the routined tendency.
Just try to stop or alter the cycle of destiny.
You couldn't, wouldn't step out of your pretentious power trip comfort zone.
No you wouldn't blaze it up and blow it out like a cyclone.

Double clutch over your shoulder.
Tell yourself its because you are a soldier.
Pfffftt okay! You carry on with the way it seems you do you these days.
We all know each game has its players and their set of ways.

So you carry on with your step on step up double standard.
I will just fluff the humble in my coat and shy away from slander.
Two sides of a coin, positive to negative its contemporary.
We are who we are who we are ,meant to be! It is all part of the bigger picture, so puff puff pass its only temporary!

The Journey

I have breathed you in it seems a lifetime of times, correlated in seconds becoming rarer.
Each shorter than the last, each with more adoration as i exhale every molecule of trial and error.
My cup artlessly empty at the commencement of our eternal long embrace.
Filling gradually my cup of discovery, tracing the lines of wisdom leaving their trails on my face.

Fighting my knuckles to the bone, then wishing you would leave as the paint cracks on our master piece.
Dropping to my knees as the hallways loose their luminosity, becoming filled with cries as they echo for your kiss of peace.
Without delay you cup my face & replenish me with hope, love & serenity. A few of the beautiful un-held possessions you grant this fading vessel.
Perceptions changed, ties undone, silver linings captured by flashes of gratitude, then plunged into the weariness as i tire
showing the threshold in our trestle.

I have waged war upon war on you just to be met each time with another venture.
Relentlessly picking at the wounds attained along our way, whispering promise of astounding adventure.
Ungrateful! I am guilty! So many a times i have put to shame the vastness of your beauty.
Demeaningly i have shunned your guidance & care. Blind to your intention of growth. Forgetting you are loyal to the exemplification of duty.

Vicious to be benevolent. Timelessly this shall be your aspiration.
In your ways and in your time you pulled the wool from my eyes to see the suffering as my inspiration.
With each collision comes a valuable lesson. You taught me to embrace even the darkness a gift in itself through wisdom.
Appreciation, love & patience! You created every situation for me to hold in my hand the key to freedom.

Belated but felt i stand with new discoveries astoundingly compelled to give to you a tribute.
Perceiving your perseverance enduring. Sharing now the secrets i hold! The greatest thing i am able to contribute.
To my ever changing paramour i tip my hat! Owing to you my praise for revealing there can be no beauty without strife!
With refreshed vision radiating from my appreciations for my abecedary. Known by all. L.I.F.E!!!!

Corrupted Soul

My force was never destined to wound thy withered soul.
My tenacity was to mend thy aching from days of old.
I can not fight the motives, why i have drawn blood.
Cupping thine haunting tears as they emerge like a flood.

Thy appreciations searching mine for answers never to be found.
By sorrow, by dread my beloved i am bound.
Distraught with my essence, on me lay thy blame.
Lingering like incense in the air your gasping under strain.

A soul without conscience is how thee beholds me.
Stone cold, vivaciously untouched without a key.
Corrupted by the veins of agony, at the root of my being.
Thy shall never touch the tender heart, blind folded i shall keep thee from seeing.

Forlorn am i by the path i have lead thy heart.
Condemning my soul to torment for my poorly portrayed part.
Do not forget thy brilliance on account of my mistake
Withering into my devastation so that thee may elude thy wake.

Beautiful Thorn

Walls enclosing my heart, shutting out the lights
My thoughts drifting back to our loved filled nights
My soul perished by my own wrongs
Music now a curse, I shuffle threw our songs

You have become a beautiful thorn in my side
Cutting in deeper as my longing becomes a limp in my stride.
Slowly i snuff out the flames burning for you.
Failing every time with day dreams of us two.

Rocking myself in the arms of the enemy.
Knowing i had recklessly committed a felony.
Would you still believe in me after all i have done.
Holding me in your sweet embrace whispering i am the one.

My soul is wilting away without you
I watch my eyes turning grey from blue.
This longing has brought me to my knees
I can feel my heart slower its beat as my soul weeps.

Come back to me my lost dark sparrow.
Touch my wounds dripping remove this self driven arrow.
Help me dry these tears from my dying eyes
Take my hand don't let go. Walk with me into the forever sun rise.

Last Dance

A skip in my step and a smile as i jump
A tap on the shoulder in my throat forms a lump
Grin as it does and takes as it wants
Snatching and fondling in delight as it stuns

Fingers of insecurity it trails across thy heart
Nails of doubt dug deeper as the cracks she parts
Arms that embrace and curdle your darkest fears
A mouth that smirks at the taste of your tears

A tongue to lick the wounds inflicted by self
Eyes that watch as you become deprived of transcendent wealth
snarls as it lurks,it takes to break
Delights as a child with a home made chocolate cake

Pleading and begging you are brought to your knees
From her hardened heart you shall find no appease
Coldly your kicked and tossed to the floor
Broken and beaten to the depths of your core

Dragging your limbs now with a limp in your walk
You look up in anguish as she parts her lips to talk

Hello beloved i am your long lost friend
Don't you see i am setting a trend
I come when your happy to steal away your smile
I do it with grace, comfort and style

You look at me with disgust and see me as a curse
But oh my beauty its you who gives me the strength to make it all worse
My name is loneliness and i come from within
I am tied to you with insecurity string

You can banish me from the cracks in your heart
But you knew that before our long embrace you saw it from the start
All you have to do is stand up and fight
Lift up your head and take away my right

Oh loneliness i should have known it was you
As you stirred the couldren of my insecurity stew
Leave me now i release you from our depleting trance
To you oh happiness i dedicate my last dance

Sadness In Her Eyes

She is a warrior more fierce than you can comprehend
With every day she prepares for the wars waged as the battle drums ascend
Her Armour thickened by the double edged sword of the enemy
Her eyes a blaze, focused on nothing but her will to conquer eternally

Her face adorned by the veneers she carries, each unique for the battle at her feet
Peer a shard closer, touch a part within, share her anguish of the blood shed street
She is a fighter always she shall rise
No matter the gravity of the sadness in her eyes

The warrior of life, Always ready, always alert
Seemingly unguarded as her pure blood merges with dirt
Each blow taking more from her bruised frame
Strength and sadness hand in hand, Love the only savior of her Name

She is a woman, one in every girl, dormant, unknowing in training for her first conquer
A warrior in the making each piece of her armor becoming stronger
Every woman part of their own elite of the broken and masters of trade
Warriors of life, Warriors of Love. True to her purpose Self Made.

My Hero

When i lay awake and fear overtakes my mind
Your arms are the safe haven where peace i find
Your soft warm embrace
Takes away the painful tears running down my face
My hero,my strength
My every breath,my life so greatly lent

My weakness you have turned to power
Thoughts of you fill my heart hour after hour
Your lips are my saving grace
Your heart is where i feel safe
My hero,my greatest love
My miracle sent from a throne above

I am yours mind,body,soul
It is only you my hero that makes me whole
You are powerful but soft
You are defined but rough
My Hero my intoxicating dream
My source of life and love supreme

You are my hero a mortal being
But your powers are greater than ever before seen
Hidden under a mask of humanity
You bring to me peace and serenity
My hero,my soul companion
With you i shall stay un-abandoned

My Hero My Mortal.............

How We See

How would you react when you knew you don't fit in. When who you are is looked down upon as a sin. I am an outcast i feel it seep through my veins. You forget im used to your words i have the stains. Nothing you say is new to me. I've heard it all before don't you see? I can not change contraire to your your belief. Its not a choice there is no relief. Accept me or don't it wont make a difference in my world. People like me are used to your words daily they are hurled. The only ones with the problem are the ones stuck in contradiction. Freedom is mine by choice of acceptance not by wars against your religion. We are not the fighters with words routed in hate. We do not condemn & pressure for his names sake. Your attacks are justified by concern & so called love for those you hurt. Maybe wed be a little closer if your ways were not so perverse. You talk about being gay like its a sickness waiting for a cure. We are not ill, we're human with vision different from yours. You could never relate to the pain plagued in our hearts. You don't face the condemnation, you wouldn't know where to start. We believe in things your minds are to closed to conceive. If it weren't for our strength we'd be just like you, breaking the broken due to our belief. Never have we forced our ways on you to be like us just so you knew. Locked up, rapped & abused, hit with a bible or two. There is no difference between homophobic activists and speakers. They leave the same scars the severity just differs. So before you point at us with judgment and disgrace. Look in the mirror, picture how we see you. Are you content with your face? Can you rest your head peacefully while we bite back our tears? Knowing your kind is the reason we have fears? Don't worry we wont become as heartless as you. We prefer our freedom & love to be gained by truth not by guilt and a life or two.....
