Tracy Scott Poem
This poem is dedicated to the one I love
Today I walk a million miles.
I walked a million miles,
I hump this ruck all day
I hear the small bing and ding as the straps begin sway
the sound of the desert winds begin to blow.
the sand begins to swirl.
I walk a million miles for this I do not know,
As Tiny drops of sweat begin to roll, these tiny drops of sweat are much like us you know, as these tiny drops begin to flow, they roll down my neck arm and legs for where they go is just unknown.
I walk a million miles
For this, I do not know
I feel so very tired and begin to slow, but with each step, we press on, with each step we must keep marching on, step after step searching looking, searching for what it's really not known.
I walk a million miles
the feeling of fear is really clear, the feeling of fear is thick as smoke and stench begin to fill the air.
the sand is blowing and swirling all around.
I walk a million mile for what, it's really not known, we hump these heavy ruck's that cut you to the bone.
I walk a million miles for this, you will never know, but as we keep marching, humping these ruck's
sweating tiny drops that roll and go to places we do not know
we keep praying, that we will make it through the day.
I walk a million miles, for this I do not know, protecting freedom land
For this Is, I do know.
I walk a million miles as bullets fill the air,
the smell of sulfur is thick in the in the noonday air
I'd walk a million more so this you will never know.
I walk a million miles, for this I now know, I never want you to see these things, or smell the stench I've known. I never want you to feel the pain or the hardships that I've endured.
I've walked a million miles but I'd walk a million more, to save you from the horrors to keep freedom on our shores, for these things I will endure keeping the enemy away if it takes my life to ensure this it a small price to pay. I've done it all for you, the ones I love the most so you will never know, the ugly horrors of war, for this I have endured
to keep freedom on our shores.
But I've done this all in love for you and I'll walk a million more
to ensure ole glory never falls and the bell sounds of freedom never fade.
Duty Honor Country I'll walk a Million more

Tracy Scott Poem
We ride across the desert sands
Like pirates out at sea.
Two Humvees accompany me
12 gypsies all we be
We fly the Jolly Roger, a symbol
Big and bold,
We sail a cross the desert sand
Happy pirates what we be.
We sport heavy fire power as we
Sail for liberty.
We have a cast of characters and a captain that be me.
We get our sailing orders and plot and plan you see.
We have a deadly mission, to capture these faces for there atrocities, they display them on playing cards
That makes them easy to see.
We are the sand gypsies that's what we are you see,
So If you happen to see us, with the black flag flying proud, it's just us sand Gypsies 12 jolly bastard were told, you will hear our music playing give me shelter is what it will be, we're just Out on a mission sailing across the desert sea.

Tracy Scott Poem
The day that lasted for ever, a day that could not be undone.
The day that lasted for ever, as I laid there in the sun, the pop pop of weapons fire is all that i could understand.
Something had happened, something that could not be undone,
my body was doing a functions check, but could not complete the task,
Something bad had happen, something I could not comprehend.
The day that lasted for ever had only just begun.
The smell of burning materials
The stench of blood and flush, as weapons fire filled the air, gun powder was ever where but nothing did I fear.
The day that lasted for ever, had begun to run its course.
The blood began to drip and pool on the desert floor, as my sight began to grow foggy and disappear.
The day that lasted for ever seemed to never end, I could feel the sun grow hot and feel the wind blow, but all I could do was lay there waiting as the end grew near.
The day that lasted forever had just begun to roar, as I lay there in the sand, the distinct smell of hydraulic fluid begin to fill the air.
I know that something bad had happened, as my breathing began to fade, my eyes grow really heavy as the weapons fire grow near.
The day that lasted for ever
Was coming to a close,
A peace and pleasant feeling was beginning to take hold, the smell of beautiful flowers begin to fill the air.
The day that lasted for ever
was a beautiful peaceful feeling
As the end was growing near.
The day that lasted for ever, peace was finally here, My body grows numb I felt no pain, I felt free from everything, as growing love began to appear, my body lay there in the sand for this is what i'm told.
i could not hear the gun fire nor smell the rotting ugly smells, I could not feel the blood that continued to flow and drip, into the sandy floor,
I found it hard to breathe right now, I think it's time to go.
The day that lasted for ever
Had almost been composed.
I woke up looking straight up as the Blackhawk rotors roared.
Something had happened something that can not be told.
A smiling face looked down over me The words were crystal clear
Welcome back my brother,
It was not your time to go.
The day that lasted for ever is still being told
