I Am a Legend

Don't tell me to be calm,
Don't tell me things will be okay.

How can you look into my eyes
and not see into the other dimensions?

Do you not see me creepin' up behind you as I
    whisper into your ear?

Can you see the kaleidoscope colors of my wings
     of change that is coming?
The end is near and you're too blind to see it.

My body may be falling apart with my Lupus illness, But
my mind, heart, and soul will live on for eternity as I soar
with my wings of change dancing throughout our universe.

While you remain on this earthly plain being transparent and stuck in pause...

              I AM A LEGEND

But you, you are nothing but a memory to me,
                 an empty shell of existence.

Under the Moonlight

The sun slowly drifts down the horizon and the warm spring air
     caresses my skin.
In the distance the soft music of the whippoorwill serenades to me
while the cricket's chirps beat to the drums of my own heartbeat.
The euphony of it soothes my kindred soul.
I sit quietly on a fallen log and watch from the shadows looking
up at the moon rising above as the radiance of it's blue aura trickles
through the tree branches like neon veins.
Finally the stars peeks out through mishap dark, translucent clouds that
     slowly drifts across above me.
Do you hear the creatures rustle in the dark?
Do you hear the wolf howl her lonely song for her mate?
Do you see the fireflies flickering like dancing fairies
                Or
Is it a Nymph coaxing me inside her world?
"I do," As I ponder the thought under the moonlight.
She beckoning me in with open arms.
I can hear and feel everything speak to me.
     I feel I belong here,
I feel I am One with connection into this world.
I feel I am free, that I am home finally in my inner sanctum.
Do you want to come join me Under The Moonlight with me?

Wolf Within

Under the blood moon sky
The urgency to release the wolf from within
Shredded skin lying on the foliage
Bones expanding to animal metamorphosis state
A heightened sense of smell intensifies
The blood lust is irresistible with every heartbeat
Then a deep, long howl into the darkness.

Vision Quest

Let my spirit of the heart guide you tonight.
For I am the inner light you have sought in the
    darkness.
Come sit by my sacred circle and share my fire.
Come hearken to the beating drums of your Native
ancestors and let it fluently dance within your
                    own heartbeat.
Listen to the wolves howl in sync with one another at
        the pale blue moon light.
Come dance around the smoke and let the cosmic energies
       flow abundance throughout your being.
Can you feel the electricity with me?
Can you clearly see the vision in front of you?
Just close your eyes and drift...
We are soaring high above the clouds with our magnificence
Eagle wings gliding over every majestic mountain peeks.
Great Creator's voice comes thundering loud through the starlit sky and says,
"This is your land, heal it well. For I am here to guide you.
You are the 7th generation of 7th generations. Go forth
my children on this walk of your Red Road journey I have
laid before you. The time has come for the full circle to
          begin."

I Am a Wounded Warrior With Wings

Do you think I was gonna lie down with my gloves on and not fight?
Do you think I was gonna bow down to you because you thought you was better
       than me?
My flames may have been flickering quickly but Oh how I shine now like a beacon
through my kaleidoscope with my colorful soul reaching out to the farthest distance
              of beyond.
As my light cascades across the sky and catches a ride on the moonbeams I wonder,
"If others can see me spread my beautiful wings and soar finally?"
Can't you see the elemental stage I have evolved to from where you're standing?
Oh how I shine so brightly that it's almost blinding you with such amazing aura that
I bestow upon thee from above.
So you see I will not be extinguished as you say, as I sit among the stars while on top
of a white puffy cloud looking down, glowing like fireflies in the dark.
For I am home now in the heavens from where I was once plucked from,
I Am A Wounded Warrior With Wings.

We Are Your Beautiful Butterfly Angels For Evermore

We softly whisper to each other in our cocooned womb of ours,
wishing for the world to see our colorful souls to emerge.
The calling, the urgency so great to break free
as we wrap our beautifully colorful wings around each other
hoping for one day to be set free.
Soon it will be time for us to fly because we are so needed
       above.
Down below we'll leave our essence of our wings of change
        for all to see.
We know it's not understandable just yet but the Great Creator
above took our wings and blew His breath so we can fly high
like the Eagles in the sky.
We now are the Beautiful Butterfly Angels dancing across the
       four winds.
We will flutter around from here to there smiling down upon you
with such amazing grace, while our wings lightly touch so tenderly
             upon your hand.
We are never far from you Mama, We are in the morning dew you see on a leaf,
we are dancing from flower petal to flower petal giggling along the way,
we are in the morning sunrise you see as the birds sing their lovely chorus
to you, we are the love that we felt the whole time through.
We Are Your Beautiful Butterfly Angels For Evermore.

Flight of the Phoenix

As I awakened from the darkness like a wee newborn babe,
I rise from the ashes that lay crumbled before my feet.
The empty shell I once was is no longer in existence.
The fire within me blazin' out to the tip ends of my wings.
I shall soar across the Universe for a new place to dwell.
I breath in the peace that was given to me as I exhale the
negativity that once was chained to my human form.
Watch me cascade with Embers of Flames as I dance across
     your evening skies.
           For I am now Flight of The Phoenix;
my spirit will no longer break,
for I am beyond your time.

Catalyst

Scavengers of the land pick the bones off my memories.
Phantoms hide behind their cloaks then evaporate into smoke.
Come breathed the smoke of my lungs that's filled with putrefying chaos.
They say true love never dies but what do I know of true love?
When all I've ever known was heartache and sorrow.
Is love suppose to leave behind battle scars among your body
invisible to the naked eye or not?
I wear my heart like a straight jacket to avoid anything touching it.
I wander endlessly through the catacombs inside my head with this
      secret void I have created.
I am shifting in and out of darkness where there is no darkness.
I have been shadow kissed by the coldness of death.
I feel the sting of frostbite creepin' in my soul.
How long must I linger between both realms?
I have become the catalyst of my own demise.

These Moors

Creeping through the the moors of this castle,
the ghosts of my past lingers and haunts me.
These damp walls that has imprisoned me has the
bloodstained tears I have given and it seeps through it's
      old cracked cobblestones.
My once beautiful flowing silk gown is now tattered and torn.
The tears that has streaked my face, has soaked my long
     auburn hair to my skin.
My porcelain skin has not seen the sun peeking through my
stain glass windows in the past coming dawns.
My betroth has left this world and no longer return to me
    in human form.
"Oh my beloved, should I dare come join you, My soul is empty
with out you beside me?" As I ponder the thought looking over
           this sea cliff.
So as I walk back through these moors alone with a sorrowful
    heavy heart,
I can feel your ghostly presence gliding next to me weeping in sync as I.

Mother Earth's Arms

As I stand on top of this glorious mountain listening
   to the wind,
the majestic melody co-exist with the lonely
howls of the wolf in the distance.
My heartbeats steadfast within me as peace rushes
    in my body.
The tranquil, serene scene looking over the treetops
           in the glistening sunset.
I call out to the Universe to hear my pleas for harmony
       among this earth.
How can anyone not see the beauty through my eyes
as I see it above the starlit sky?
How can they not hear the sorrowful cries the earth
makes when the chaos grows with intensified force
                        around me?
I think I will slip back into Mother Earth's arms for this world just
isn't ready yet for what I have to offer it.
