Gregory Golden Poem
On the wheels of our dreams
The hammer of Thor
Shall crack this fountain sky
What words shall find
The patient clock unwinds
We live on borrowed time

Gregory Golden Poem
Your words --
Are the soft mortar
Between bricks and stones
Inside these mending walls
Your words --
Are stiff but fragile
Frames, building language and art
Words fill these empty spaces in our hearts
Thus, words are the architects of time

Gregory Golden Poem
I caught
a yellow poem
in my hands, and
it fluttered like a
frighten flock of butterfly wings
Spreading its
yellow bright wings,
Then gliding across
a sea of gold,
we landed gently
as a ripple
on the pond
If yellow is
the brightest color
in the rainbow,
then, let me
chase a yellow poem
-- through your candlelight
If we land
with both feet
on the ground,
I wonder, why
we could not
catch a yellow
butterfly smile today

Gregory Golden Poem
love has everything
upon this earth
that
live and breathe
this quiet place
why do we question her
let it be
the
voice of reason known
that
shelters all of us
let hearts
surrender to this quest
nor
do we walk away
from
true love and happiness
yet
lovers fall in love
to quench their thirsty souls
oh love has everything
upon this earth

Gregory Golden Poem
mars
stretch out
your
red falcon wings
we feel
your
back to the wind
your eyes
your feathers
are
orange flames,
that
soar
through
pink salmon sky
in ships
that
we crafted
oh lord
we go on to mars

Gregory Golden Poem
the
iridescent soul
the
space
inside of
the rose
the
place
where
both
lovers go
deep inside of the rose
towards our destiny

Gregory Golden Poem
captain Breckenridge, listen to what I said
the crew is hungry because they are not getting fed
our rations are low and if you give it time,
we shall have a mutiny on our hands
just give me the order and say it with me,
captain Breckenridge
someone shall walk the plank and
the hungry sharks are wolves tonight,
aye, and the sharks are waiting overboard,
to be fed

Gregory Golden Poem
Don Quixote
De La Mancha
ending his quest
for the Code of Chivalry
must not die a silent death
along the golden road of Spain
witnessing a fiesta red Sunset
while the Mariachi windmills and
blue dragons sing and chant

Gregory Golden Poem
We chase the eyes of God
Through this cosmic dream
Are there multiple Gods
Walking through space and time
We want to know, all that you know
Satellite probes stretching to the stars
Colonizing this copper moon and this iron mars
How did we get here, God, to where you are?
Where is this beginning
Where is this end
You gave us this curious mind for
Asking deep questions like
Who, what, when why, and how?
The eyes of God dwell in this soul or
God is our dream

o heaven
brake
every breath

not made of flesh

every breath
