Pool of Dreams

Look down into the black depths
What do you see
Your life unfolding before you
The impossibilities of reality
What could have been or what will be
Good things and bad
You see your dreams

Eclipse

The Sun is now gone
Beaten away by chains and whips
You won't last too long
Under the reign of the new Eclipse

The Essence

I come around as I please
You know I'm here
It's in your sense
Like a mist over the seas
But what will you do
When I've taken over you
Just take in the Essence

A Wolf Pack

First we have the Alphas
They're the ones that lead the pack
When something happens they're the ones that act
That's what alphas do

Next we have to Betas
They're the second in command
Other than the alphas all wolves they can demand
That's what betas do

Third we have the leader pups
They take over for their parents if anything happened
And the pack lines tehy extend
That's what the leader pups do

Last we have other pack members
They take the jobs that the leaders don't
They take jobs like babysitter that other's won't
That's what members do

Wolf packs can have many members
They are usually all friends
All taking care of each other
Because that's what wolf packs do

Sick of It

I hate the lies
I hate the pain
That you cause
Day after day

Racism

Daily a victim of racism dies
While our government accuses them wrongly with lies
The air is punctuated by their screams and their cries
In response to their pleas we choose not to reply
They beg us for mercy, they beg us to try
But we simply say you're just another guy
They take it with courage but tears wet their eyes
For the world sits in silence and cares not for their lives

Indie

He said "she writes with broken pens"
He thinks his cartridge died so he's looking for the end
She typed 'I love you' but she never did press send
She's ready to give up, and she's looking for the end

A Bitter Heart

It's just a game for times of boredom, and the lack of care defines the sin
I gave up everything for freedom, but now I'm someone else again
Your indifference is my agony, and all the promises you break
They echo in the aftermath of everything you ever faked.

A Game

It's all just a game, whose heartstrings can we pull and whose can we sever
Who faked true love and who promised forever?
The girl dressed in black with all her wicked chains
She once thought of elegance in thunderstorms and rain
Her black broken heart, the flawless blue sky
He told her he loved her, now she's scared to try
The boy full of life, more mysterious than a cat
He broke her and left her and never looked back
Now the true pain, a rebellious son
After months of waiting his heart was won
The one she loved more than the world
The one who convinced her she was a beautiful girl
They know that she cries, and she bleeds caustic red
Now all she hears is his voice in her head
It's all just a game, whose heartstrings can we pull and whose can we sever
Who faked true love and who promised forever?

I'M Sorry

I didn't mean to I swear
It was an accident no doubt
That Halloween night
We both went out

It was supposed to be fun
And cause a terrible fright
To those who walked by
On an innocent night

Turns out it did scare
But in a different way
I hope you can forgive me
For what I did to you that day

I was a cowgirl
I didn't know it was loaded
We were playing around
The whole thing exploded

She lay on the ground
It must be her fate
I called for help
But it was too late

I killed her that night
With a backfiring gun
I shouldn't have given it to her
But I can't fix what I've done

I just thought I should say
Goodbye to you all
I'm going to find her now
I've learned pride comes before a fall

I know you've been hurt
I've done this to you
I'm doing what I can
This is what I can do

I'm going to find her
And make sure she's okay
Make sure she's happy
I'm going today

I'm raising the gun
Putting it to my head
I'll die like she did
God, take me instead
