Racism

Daily a victim of racism dies While our government accuses them wrongly with lies The air is punctuated by their screams and their cries In response to their pleas we choose not to reply They beg us for mercy, they beg us to try But we simply say you're just another guy They take it with courage but tears wet their eyes For the world sits in silence and cares not for their lives
