Why Does It Have To Hurt So Bad

Why does it have?
To hurt so bad
When we all know
That in the end
We’re nothing but sad
Falling in love
You think you’d be happy
Like nothing else matters
We become all sappy
It starts out amazing
When it feels so real
But all that we’ve been handed
Is just such a shitty deal
Play your cards right
And you will see
Nothing will ever
Turn out right

You Only Live Once

They say
You only live once
But that's no longer true
Angels and demons
Always repeating life
Through different bodies
And different souls
Although they're empty
They're minds are clear
Never believe
Words that are said
From another's point of view
Can anyone really trust
Themselves with everything
And I mean every little thing
Every choice that's Been made
Every word that's Been spoken
Remember your morals
Remember what's right

I See the Light

I see the light
Shining so damn bright
In your eyes
Is where my happiness lies
Bringing me smiles
From far away miles
I wish you weren’t so far
It feels further than earth to mars
But it’s nothing we can’t handle
Because our love is the everlasting flame of a candle

Like Me

Like me
For me
Not for who
You think I can be
Judge me not
For what I wear
But whether I prove
I actually care
For love…
Is not about looks
Nor money or power
But the connection between two
One cannot deny
I just wish
It was me and you

I Feel So

I feel so alone
yet people still fill the room
Maybe it’s always been known
My smile is my costume
but I am in constant pain
that is clear to see
It’s driving me insane
It won’t let me be
I’ve been hurt before
and I have survived
But I can’t take much more
My despair is what they thrive
Looking back now
I should have seen
I should have never allowed
Them to be so cruel
To be so mean

A Story

A story
Of love
Begins with an end
Deception
Lies
Even words…
Cannot mend
What’s done
Is done
You can no longer
Look back

Her Stomach Was Fat

Her stomach was fat
But her heart was small
She stood on the edge
Just waiting to fall
Her back was stabbed
And her feet lost balance
She began to smile
As she finally realized
Her body lay mangled
On the sheets of
They all just stared and wondered why
The last memory
Haunts us all
She’s on the floor
All black and blue
I can’t help but give the blame
All to you

Writing

Writing is my passion,
Writing is my pain
Sometimes I think I've lost
More than I'll ever gain
There's power in words
Only ones that aren't said
The truth that lies within them
Is nothing but dead
More lies have been told
Throughout life's history
Causing death among all
Why? Still remains a mystery

What Can I Say

What can I say?
I loved too much
And now
There is nothing
But another
Hopeless day
I’ve lost it all
With no regrets
I stood in line
And placed my bets

Beware

Beware
The time
The weak lust grows
Time
Of valentines
Is nothing
But sadness
Moron’s breakup
Like vain
Cars go
Forget the sweets
So cheat the hints
