Saved By a Wizard

Saved By A Wizard

It was beginning to get dusk,
the crimson red moon was out.
Eerie sounds, you could hear
while we were out and about.

Deep in the mist,
Eyes glowed of red.
We heard a dark voice,
This is what it said,

"You're both mine tonight."
I screamed, you grabbed me tight
both were full of fright.

He chased us with a butcher knife.
His face pale and white.
Screaming out of his lungs,
We ran far out of sight.

We couldn't hide from him
He soon found us again
deep, into the woods,
shaking, so deep within

He was angry he missed,
Then came after me instead.
He had just missed my head
with the blade, was pissed.

I felt his anger, as his hand slashed his blade
My skin was missed, as he slashed and swayed.
He swung to the left, once to the right
Moved us towards, an old gravesight.

There we heard the chanting of a witch.
Ravens and crows swarming above,
then that rotten witch, screamed, with a high pitch,
and the monster, gave a big shove.

Suddenly, we stood upon a hill,
where the witch was suddenly still.
There stood a pot, burning upon a fire,
upon it hung a human wire.

Bodies swung upside down,
flesh began to hit the ground.
She slowly raised them into the pot.
She had no extra room for us to hang.
All of a sudden, there was a loud bang,
Someone was standing in that spot.

A wizard stood, raising us in the air,
soon we both disappeared.
She couldn't find us at all.
At the goblins, she did hiss,
all they did, was throw a kiss
She got angry and got her crystal ball.
In the crystal ball, she could not see,
 so she threw it hysterically.
Wizard appeared just in time,
saving us both, from this line.

Crystal ball dropped into our hands
the wizard laughed out loud.
Around the witch, was a huge crowd.
The wizard began to chant,
which he then started to rant.

"Rain on her," he yelled, rain had fell.
"Tell me where are they,"she screamed,
"I've looked far, wide, and in between."
"so me, you better tell."

The rain was too hot,
melted her away,
no way, would the goblins stay,
The wizard then picked up the whiskey,
and took a shot.

Depression Kills

Many people have no clue
Of the hell I go through
If they only knew
The pain and agony, too

Why do I say depression kills, age 14,
Twenty times I have tried with pills
Wished I was dead at times still

My brother was depressed, too
Going to counseling he needed to do
Guilt I feel because I knew
Should of been the one to help, too

Thirty-two years it tortured my mind
Peace I can never mind
It sometimes puts me in a bind
Can't relax and unwind

Many times the teardrops fall
Get angry and wanna hit the wall

The pain within, no longer can bear
Living with depression isn't fair
At my heart, it really tears

Unless you have depression,
Please don't say you understand, too
Because you really have no clue

Thinking of You

There isn't a day that goes by
That I don't think of you
Our friendship has always
Been forever true

If there is anything
I can ever do
You know you can
Always count on me, too

A Little Positivity

A Little Positivity
by Melanie D Palmer

A little bit of positivity,
Could go a long way today.
It helps keep that rotten negativity,
From wanting to come around to stay.

Mind's Like a Computer

Our mind is like a computer.
Plug it into some positivity,
and happy we can be.

Plug it into negativity,
more miserable we will be.
You choose what chip goes in.

Sometimes the wrong chip is put there
and has been programmed by other's
around us, changing the real person we are.

Until we remove that bad chip full
of negativity and reprogram ourselves
with positivity and different people, nothing changes.

It just brings more depression and takes
away the beautiful smile we used to have.
We allowed them to change the real US.

Wishful Thinking

As I sit here, wishing he was here
Trickling down my face, are tears
I kept thinking, maybe it's not true
When's this nightmare through?

Had seen his name on different sites
Start to feel really uptight
Kept thinking maybe I am right
Some day he will be standing in sight

If this only could have been true
I wouldn't feel the way I do
still have my brother here, too
if only people knew

Alcohol

Always turn to it when
Life gets me down
Causes me to laugh
Or at least for the time
Had nothing to lose
Or at least I thought
Living like that isn't the answer

Creature In the River

A couple decided to walk
down to the park near the river
At that time, you could barely see
the crimson moon, just a sliver

Moon was always that color
on Halloween night.
Lexy was holding on
to James hand very tight.

They were so romantically in love
Lexy thought he was sent from above.
They'd been dating for quite some time,
everything seemed so sublime.

The moon had finally came out
from behind the clouds
While they were standing by the river
they had heard something crack loud.

Lexy grabbed James and screamed,
"Let's get out of here."
She had a fearful look on her face
and turned to tears.

It was too late, a strange creature came out
the water with fiery eyes.
They were grabbed from behind,
She screamed, continues to cry.

After she had screamed,
her mouth was covered.
Creature said, "You two lovers,
are mine tonight."

I need two virgins for the witch
had been watchingfor you all year
Their faces were white, full of fear.

The creature had blood
flowing from his eyes
As he completely came out of the water,
He was all covered with flies.
Lexy and James hands were finally tied.

The two who had grabbed them
walked in front of them at last
They were zombies, dry blood Tongues were like a serpents, fast
they didn't dare move for they were poisonous with venom.

A boat came by, the monster gave the kids to the witch
when she spoke, she was loud and had a high pitch.

When Lexy and James were placed
in the boat,
The witch cast a spell, then put on a black coat.

When she cast another spell, large snakes came out, then wrapped
around their bodies, hissing,
they were trapped.

Boat finally stopped, snakes had disappeared, zombies had came
and picked them up out of the boat,
laid on a huge rock, positioned same.

Their hands and feet were spread
tied to the trees, next to where they laid,
spells were cast, evil prayers were chanted, when ordered, zombies obeyed.

A goblet came over with a dagger
piercing them through the heart
they died instantly, which was planned from the start.

Poured the blood, from the heart into the glass bowl, too
Each zombie and goblet sipped blood from the bowl, they knew
they had to chant, then the leaders of the group and the witch bit through
it and bit a piece from the heart.

Passed it around to each zombie
so they could do the same
gave them energy and now
they were no longer tame.

Ate all the flesh off the bodies, made a sacrifice, spirits came out and flew away,
turned midnight and disappeared, they all went to their homes to stay.

Frankenstein Goes To the Gym

That old ugly Frankenstein,
always loved to wine and dine.
Now he had a fat behind
couldn't waste any more time.
He decided to join the huge Monster Gym,
all that fat he gained, now needed trimmed.
He had given each mean machine a try,
by the end of the night, was ready to die.
Every muscle screamed out in pain,
wouldn't give up, more weight he'd gain.
By the time Halloween came,
he sure didn't look the same.
He just had to give that Elvira a call,
and invite her to the Halloween Ball.
Frankenstein's hard work had paid off at the end.
He lost his weight and now gained a special friend.

Three Pigs

Three Pigs
by Melanie D Palmer

There were three pigs.
One was rich and had common sense.
The middle one was poor and dense,
Youngest one was book smart with a bit o scense (common sense & cents).

Smart pig built a house made from bricks,
Stood out more then the others.
Middle pig made house from hay,
He was dumb, they stayed away from one another.
The youngest looked in the book, made his outta sticks.
He was book smart, but no sense like his older brother

The neighbor, was sly as a fox.
He was a wolf with tricks up his sleeve.
His wife got mad,
Finally told him to leave.
She got tired of him not being responsible,
Only wanted to hang out with his pet peeve.

He decided to hang out in the woods,
Began to snoop around.
On his face was a smile,
Certainly not a frown.
He was dressed like a girl,
Wearing a beautiful night gown.

He went to the youngest pig's house.
Asked to enter his door.
Pig said, "get out of here!"
"I've seen you somewhere before."

Wolf decided to not waste hs breath,
Took a match and lit the sticks.
Pig could see him standing there, licking his lips.

Ran to the dumb brothers home.
He opened the door, his brother was alone.
The wolf said, "let me in to visit."
"I am the neighbor you've known."

Took a match and lit the house.
They ran to their smart brother with a skip and a hop.
The wolf huffed and puffed said, "forget it."
Climbed to the chimney and down he dropped.

They were cooking veggie soup,
He dropped into the pot.
Now he didn't have to go to the store,
Waited to eat, until it was nice and hot.

They went to tell his old lady he was dead.
She said, "oh well, I am much farther ahead."

THE END
