Flowers In Her Hair

Across the ocean sings a lady with flowers in her hair
 She dances in the moonlight sky imagining you there
 Pretending she's a princess
 Laughing, having fun
 Streaming tears of happiness waiting for the sun

 The night is slowly ending 
 Tomorrow is on it's way
 Quietly awaiting for another lovely day

 She lay to rest so peacefully upon Earth's precious ground
 Her day of beauty and the love that she has found

 Still no sign of morning light
 No whispers in the air
 The only sign of any life are the flowers in her hair

This Flame

I'm here holding on but trying to let go
Afraid to loose my grip And fall back to you below
I can not say the feelings that I hide
There is an emptiness
A darkness
Lighting flames on each side
I am laying here looking up wondering how I fell
Can I get back on two feet 
Or am I forever stuck in Hell
These tears are holding memories
One by one falling down
Dripping into a love cemetery 
Buried deep under ground
That flame is spreading lighting each end
Burning together and snapping at the bend
Ashes falling are carried through the air
Gently flowing each other's love
Spreading everywhere

Silence, emotional enemy
Cold shoulder envy
You’re gone again
You’re gone again
Broke in two
Shadow on a pale face 
Knows the truth
Heart keeps beating
You have stopped breathing

Cold hand wrapped in mine
Warming up
warm breath fog hides your eyes
A mask in winter
You become disquised

Play your cards right you could just win
An ace of spades is your best bet
Don’t come around here if you know you can’t win
She’ll pick up the deck and play you again
She says all you want to do is just play games
Her life is a board and she plays the same way

Walk alone in that city at night, dark of night
Looking for the spot where you first saw her eyes
Like a grey shadow falling over the sky
She won’t be there, she’s in disguise

Take a moment
Breathe the mist of the day
Too dark outside and you can’t find your way
Down the road you traveled with her before
Go back
Go back

And she made that mistake of choosing you
She said I chased my dreams so they’d come true
It’s all over now
It’s all over now

Bring it back somehow

You know you’ll be alone
She can’t find you now
And on this night she’ll change her mind

It’s strange how you change

Bound 

 Laying down sound to sleep
 I hold you near, hear you weep
 These tears are falling baby
 They fall because I care
 Keep close to me so I know you're there
 My body is numb, feel your breath
 Breathing deep, heat on my chest 
 Soft lips of kisses pressed on foreheads
 We're living the fairytales we once read
 Hand in hand, beating of hearts
 You captured my soul
 You got me, I'm caught 
 Bound together, this love we found
 The one they all said would be Hell bound
 Here you are, your presence with mine
 I see your truth, I see you're kind
 That emotional mind you’re trying to hide
 Like a back seat on a rollercoaster ride

 Diluting your mind with empty thoughts
 It's buried in you
 You haven't forgot
 Reach deep within and pull it out
 There is magic inside
 Without a doubt
 Your words are powerful
 Speaking in rhyme
 Has it’s own pace
 It takes it's time
 Think too hard and you will see
 Overthinking will bring more difficulty
 Stuck in a block
 Trying to escape
 This becomes the mind's rape

Angel Speak

An Angel was set to me today
To speak the words I could not say
Deep in my heart I knew the truth
And the mask you wore has come unglued

Walk me past that hidden road
The one I chose has no remorse
I will run, I’m free from the lies
And my heart is now beating back to life

Your voice is speaking inside my head
Telling me every word you said
Those words made smiles but now I see
They were never true and now killing me

There is a stale emptiness, a darkness inside
Where I stay quiet from the feelings I hide
Tears start to fall without any sound
into a cemetery where the love’s buried down

So take me Angel away with you
In heaven’s arms there is always truth

Our Song 

 Quietly waking up to your guitar strumming
 Recapturing last night’s song, humming
 A song we captured and stole as ours
 We turned it up to volume 23 in the car
 Making our own words, we sang out loud
 We sang it again "Getting Lost in The Crowd"
 Words now for only us to own
 We recorded it laughing into your phone
 You couldn’t help but to dance
 Playing air guitar became pure romance
 You tapped to every beat you heard
 Explaining every song as you referred
 The secret meanings behind those words
 Talking about how time captures and can change us
 When you follow your dream you live in a rush
 In two different worlds but living as one
 You said "Live your dreams and have some fun"

Time to end this mess
 We're living in

 You'll find me hidden in the galaxy
 Feel me falling beneath your sea
 No more can you take me as yours
 I've been locked behind closed doors
 For way too long all I've heard is your voice

 Pushed me to the other side
 I walked away
 I said goodbye 
 But you pulled me back
