Laying down sound to sleep
I hold you near, hear you weep
These tears are falling baby
They fall because I care
Keep close to me so I know you're there
My body is numb, feel your breath
Breathing deep, heat on my chest
Soft lips of kisses pressed on foreheads
We're living the fairytales we once read
Hand in hand, beating of hearts
You captured my soul
You got me, I'm caught
Bound together, this love we found
The one they all said would be Hell bound
Here you are, your presence with mine
I see your truth, I see you're kind
That emotional mind you’re trying to hide
Like a back seat on a rollercoaster ride
Come back to reality
Bring back that style
That style I haven’t seen in a while
Take some time, break those thoughts
Speak with your heart and the love you've brought
Time is short, living in a clock
Listen to your own rhythm
Not the tic tic tock
So open up those doors
And start taking score
