Breaking News

Breaking news
I had a heartbreak
probably you thinking to
yourself
that my heart was broken but
no...

My heart took a break
It took a break from loving you
from believing that there could
actually be truth in the
statements
you make whe your eyes get
smaller
and emotions take over your
thinking

It took a break from
from breathing the same air as
you
believing love dwells in you
or that the truth can ever come
from you

My heart has given up on you.
I had a heart break!

I Loved

Mind, spirit and soul
Truth be told, I gave you my all
Friends didn't have to know about us
This was for my heart and yours to know.

I loved.
Took my heart on a journey
With a car that had its tank empty
But I knew that we'll get to the garage surely
But I didn't know that's where we were going.

It seemed as though you have better plans
So I put mine on the side and listened to your will and cans
That had no maybes so I was willing to ride this baby... Though it was empty.

Love is blind and maybe stupid
No,Love is not blind and I am not blind I just find reality too victimising so I
hide my small heart behind the saying "Love is blind"
As for it being stupid? NO! But just maybe our relationship was stupid.

So I walked away
Till a flood of tears caught up with me on my way
And I started floating back to you
Till I realised you caused the floods then went back to sunnydays.

I can't swim so I'll sit here until I'm covered with mud

Perhaps I walked away too far
When I turned, the journey back to you was too long
Perhaps, I gave up on you too fast that when I turned our car needed much
more than gas
But maybe the journey had to end eventually...

But wait you have my property
So we must end this properly
So I'll swim to where you are
My heart; that is all I want.

Getting constipated by anger
Over-controlled by feelings
Swimming in your tears
Added salt to my fears!

I found you exactly where I left you
I apologised for my mistakes long enough for you to finish fixing the breaks
The car was crumbling like dry cooked cakes
You told me that you found a she to help you cause I really caused you pain
You told me "I should stop talking to you, it'll ease the pain"
I went crazy thinking; "Are you insane? Do you know how bad it was,
swimming through that salty lane?"
You carried on saying "I'm feeling much better..."

Heartbeat got slow
I started thinking "Oh no! Yolanda you a monster for causing the guy so much
pain!
Yolanda you are stupid for risking so much for no gain!
But no way! I got pride so I won't let you see my pain
So instead I said "Oh...wow...okay...cool"
Hearing my heart beat slow
And a rock of sadness on my throat
I said "I will help you get better"

I'm starting my own flood and I hope it takes you away
Don't swim back to me.

Love and Life

Life! Love! Life!
A slight difference between
Dreamland and reality
One a home for believing
Another a house for insecurities

An unsafe place
Where your safety is always
Said to be taken care of;
Funny how that is guaranteed
To you with the lights off.

Love!
"A game of hearts"
The Heart
"It pumps blood"
Definition of a heartbreak
Is when you take what is meant
To pump blood and play with it.

Yolanda! What have you done?

Love; I treated you badly
Sadly; it took my heart first
Being tired for me to admit to defeat.
I thought you were the heart with all
Those emoticons I constantly got.

Love!On Whatsapp you
Gave me the impression that
If I see you through those puppy eyes
That the emojis had to offer; you were more realer!

Love; I misused you...
The thing is, when I saw
Romeo and Juliet and I was told it
Was a love story I knew that at some
Point you will hurt me so I might as well
Act smart and avoid what might lead me
To where Juliet ends up.

Love! Life came knocking
"Open your eyes" it said.
"Love is blind" I replied.
But Life told me that
"Those with their eyes open are
Capable of walking the bling to the forest"
I told Life "No! I won't let go"
Life said to me "If it was meant to be;
It will come back to you"

Love! Listen to me...
Love; I got confused
I confused your relationship with Life.
Love tell me: Who is Life? Is it a male?
Is it a female? Is it a person?
Love please respond to me!

"Yolanda; I am Love. I am not your heart.
I dwell in your heart. My existence in your
Heart keeps your heart pumping blood.
The blood running through your veins
Provides you with Life. Love is Life.
Life is Love"

One request Love.
Provide with Life;
Love be the life I want to Live.

I Am a Man

I AM A MAN
First week; you had me weak
Seeing noone else you all I thought about
It was really love at first blink
But baby now i want out
Now, second & fourth week is in
My blood is thickened with confusion
I’m left before you wondering
If is this a real love connection
Lately; all I hear is
“I’m a man with needs; satisfy me”
I am trying to find the guy I fell in love with
The one who saw me as his Miss
My mistake is; i thought that’s all there is
I fell short of the rest of the experience
That at my expense; I have to spread
My very own legs to your satisfaction
Sacrifice my mother’s teachings
So I can get on with my girlfriend duties
Irregardless of whether or not I’m ready
Just as long as you steady!
It is with no pleasure that i come to the event
But I do as you please for love’s sake
And let you vent & bend, twist & turn me
To turn back & find your absence
For i did not leave up to the occasion
I am sorry; I can’t forget my past
For when I was forced into sex
Nobody brought me rules & guidelines
I laid there cold & in pain
Not sure what kinda game it was that I was playing
I wanted to cry but I was told to hush we almost done
So I am sure we almost done
Come & leave.

Manufactured Lies

Manufactured Lies

It was sad when it was announced
Nobody paid attention to how her name was pronounced
The crowd was more pleased that it was over
But to her, she felt as though the world still owes her.

Noxolo was introduced as No!-Xolo
Because to the world she lived in she always started war
Stating truths that many chose to hide from
Revealing reality that many chose to separate from.

To her; the world was elastic
Like burning melting plastic
She was too realistic
But to many, she was pessimistic.

Her words broke dreams
Sun-burned all our lil streams
Teard apart all of life's seems
With her, our fantasies found homes on beams.

She let us know that motivation is sometimes false truth,
That education is not the only tree that bears sweet fruits,
That we might be pouring water on a plant with no roots.
She made us realise that we go through the same process everytime we
reboot.

So maybe yes the world owed her
Actions speak louder than words
Violence is the only action they took towards her
So rather stay tuned to that motivation.

Moral of the story: Sometimes your honest opinion is not your best opinion
because to some people "The truth hurts" and so they'd rather listen to
manufactured lies(motivation) written down with the intention of gaining
recognition.

Noxolo believed in action more than words... Start acting!

Loving

If somebody asked me to define "LOVING"
LOVING IS GIVING
Giving your time
Giving your attention
Giving your mind
Your soul & entire body
Giving your heart
Giving your respect
Giving your all
Giving without expectations
Giving freely & willingly
Giving with just ONE hope
Hoping that the person you are GIVING to knows what LOVING is.

Because I Love Only You

Put your arms around me
I want you to control me
Comfort me with your words
Please, protect me from the worst.

I want to show you my love is true
From this day till we reach one that's new
I hate how my heart constantly beats for you
But I'm happy because I love only you.

I Am Single

Hello I am Single
So my introduction will only take a minute
Well lets open some champagne while we are at it
Feel free to smile I am Single.

I am one with myself
I am opening all shelves
All protecting shells have been broken
No harsh word hasn't been spoken.

Like birds during summer feel free
Commitment is out of my vocab
I won't charge you I"m free
While you at it... here is a herb.

I am Single
I am one with myself
Oh and my herb.
Oh no! I need help.

When Night Arrives

When night arrives my body shivers with pain
My feet curl up with the cold that travels from my toes to my spinal cord
My stomach makes weird noises that are cause by the emptiness
Hungry for happiness.

When night arrives
I think of all the daylight glories
How I brighten up with no glow on my face
While on my shoulders I have a collection of cans, wills, should haves and could haves
Which darken my blood living my heart split in half...

When night arrives
Day remembers me more
The problems I avoid come back to fill in the void and take charge of my thinking
Like taps leaking I can't stop my tears from falling while everyone is sleeping

Am I stressing or seeking attention or maybe sickening?
From 65kg down to 59kg within a week could it be that I'm weakening?
When night arrives these are the questions that my mind keeps poppin'

When night arrives
My heart and mind start fighting
My arms refuse to let go of my legs as I roll myself up like a snail under its shell but I still feel as though I'm unprotected.

When night arrives
My songs lose rythm while my poems have no rhyming scheme
It gets colder under heated blankets
My heart beats a bit slower
I don't know whether its because of the darkness away from home which is closely related to evil
The darkness which is filled with sharp thorns like an unwalked forest
I don't know whether the darkness scares me because...

When night arrives
Fear travels from my toes to my thighs at high speed directly to my skull
Causing my heart to beat slow
Causing my weak points to show

When night arrives
The salty river starts to flow.

Call It What You May

I have been made happy
To a point where I now know the meaning of petty
I have found joy in a biscuit
Sweeter than you may imagine it

Feel free
Call it what you may
But I choose not to give it a name
I'm afraid it might just go away.

This here speaks in all languages
Like Ganier
It takes care of all the blemishes
Hence my skin remains so clear

If you look at me
You will see it through my eyes
It shines brighter than my smile
It comes from deep inside

My heart has a friend
My hand has a helper
My soul has a home
Call it what you may

But know this
I have never felt like this
My smile is brighter than the sunshine
Its pure bliss

My presence is now felt
Tears are left to drop in my absence
And this may be a bit absurd
But understand; I am new to this.

Excuse me if I make no sense
My heart is getting used to this pen and paper
Words are on top of each other
Two hearts have just met each other.
