They Did It For Us

Unpleasant sounds,
Pains and sorrow,
Voices roars in the air,
Booming of a gun,
Thou shall not kill,
Not in their dictionary.
The tussle for power,
Shattered and scattered roads,
Fears in the mind,
Humans on the race,
Tears drop means nothing,
Generations' gone and more still going.
Hunger at its peak,
Animals go into hiding,
Great leaders taken to the
Faded land by death.
Fathers(soldiers) shoot other children's father,
Darkness at its peak,
Voices without sound yearning for peace,
Peace to weak to stand.
The struggles without end fears peace,
War on seeing peace sighs.
From behind it came like a bomb, bum,
Was that?
The UN,
Their flag bears peace,
To promote internal co-operation,
Bring nations together,
History broken,
At last we can shake one another hands.
Rehabilitation started,
Nations assisting nations,
Peace and security at its peak,
Promoting human rights,
And fostering all-round development,
A better world for you and me,
And education aids peace,
The UNESCO came on board through it,
And paved way for education,
Reducing the illiterate in the world.
Brought Africa to lime light,
Gave rise to educated ones,
Breaking the barriers in Nigeria education,
What seems increasingly difficult was made easy,
Nigeria now boasts of educated ones,
It made Alvan what it is today,
I am a beneficiary,
Hmm! How do we appreciate the UN?

Rain

The daylight's darkness drops again,
The wind looses its controlling brain
And the dust protest in Peaceful anger
Thunder whispers banger
Hopeless than a motioned train
A droplet of a comic tragic rain!
Humans' legs on the race,
So not to miss the trace,
As roofs struggle space of air
For roofs know not who erred
The trees forced to bow
leting green and yellow pride down,
Finally, heaven open it's doors,
As sky looses it's keys to doors
Now the earth is drowning
Like the inhabitants are sorrowing.
But we may do without rain
But not water. Is water not rain?

The Fist of the Polygamous Child

As war ends,
Another begins,
As peace is forced to stand,
So is fight empowered to stand.
Where blood strive against blood,
Where is the love in the blood?
''Blood never lies'' is not in this,
Cause hatred flows in the mind,
Evil unfold in the heart,
Strength for strength,
Bloods in the veins will be
Let loose to taste the mother earth,
The temper increases,
So as the andrallin drops faster,
Heart beat on the pace,
To meet the race,
Fist to face,
Ideology. Of peace escapes
The memory,
As fast as a cheater,
Feelings expression is on the high concentration,
Voices roars in the air,
The tongue at work,
Respect lacks it value, dignity on the brick,
Honesty pricks,
What are meant not to be
Heard is throw openly,
Even encouragement to do more
Is applaud,
Who will settle this dispute?
It seems a funny place,
To hold a war is the house,
Called silence.
Elders words are not regarded,
Appetite is lose,
Appeasement is wrong in their sight,
Affirmative action is in place,
Where are we heading to?
I drop this pen by being
Non-committal,
"Let peace reign".
Endless strive for will,
Will powder is necessary,
Right for right,
Always a weak approach,
Intelligence test is in wrong order,
Elder brothe no-blesse oblige is lacking,
Who is the nit wit in this scene?
Respect for the dead disappears,
Revenge is not an option in this scene,
Need to revival love,
Should be put in place,
When will this fist end?
Lateral thinking should be welcome,
Je ne sais quoi of the elder brother
Is missing,
Jeez,
Jealousy on the tract,
The young jeering,
Several cheap jibes at the elderest,
The liquidator behind and energizing the war,
Understanding is a privilege.
The mother in charge of per diem,
So the house should be her prerogative
Right according to the will,
Can there be last ditch?
I wish is an utopia
Or what shall be the protend,
The event proved to be a protent
That was to come.

Love

During the time of the lustry preen,
Searching through the sea and land behold,
Beside a floating river,
I found a pretty queen,
Listening to the orchestra in green,
In her arm,my heart were fold,
Looking through her retina my soul mow,
For her loves makes me batty and pow,
Yet saved me from the awful snow,
By her love my tears blow,
By her kiss my smile grow,
Let's switch the balalaika sound,
While our fragile count,
Like a hound,
In the journey of love relay,
She stretched her hands to protect my heart through belay,
You are so precious than a diamond stone,
For my love to you is an adze hone,
In a ward of love,
I'm brew,
Even when the wind whack like whet hew,
The sky still remain blue,
When the love breeze blew.

Oh Nekede

A grevious ghetto.
Young and old live
A fearful avenue to freshers,
A non-grid lock area,
Where the young guile people.

Smokes in the air but no fire,
Hard drugs serves as food,
Haemophiliac men on the streets,
No halycon days of the youth,
Half caste children populates

Sodom and Gomorrah now
In nekede!
Girls on the streets,
With their dwangling breast,
To sell their already sold dignity,
To young men who sees it
As their duty to buy it,
Just with almost no token.

Parental advice untraceable
In their psychopathic brain
They are lords of their own,
It is written on the wall boldly,
A HARBINGER,
A good place for war is there

Two sided humans stay in nekede,
The wise men and the jeuw men,
Wise men keep getting wiser and
Jeuw men keep getting foolish

Wise men are not save,
Claiming to be owners of the road,
The jeuw are free men,
Move freely on the street.

Wise men die daily and the fortunate
Await death though on the race.
In other not to miss the grace,
Could this be an herald trace?

The jeuw jeer at the wise ones,
Death tolls.
Tears roll.
The fathers of nekedians weep
Even in the grave,
Has evil not stayed its welcome?
And the area ripe for judgement?

But who will be the judge?
We wait for such a day

Pains

Oh! The east wind,
The self a claim iroko is now bent
The eyes release rain
Pain and strife,
Pain and sorrow.
Pain pain pain and no gain
A shattered life, if it ever was.
Reflects in a broken mirror
But your eyes have not seen it yet.
They jabbed at you with sharp little lies
The world of real illusion.
But what l see is a dance.
A dance at death's gate.
The dancer's drummer was among them
He refused and refused advice
I remember him for "Nothing will happen.
I know my self"
It was just a fight
A fight to Glory
A fight for a woman.
Is love a death warrant
Manifested through a woman?
Another may still break a dream
By lying dead on the street
A good night in the morning

An Errand of Condom

Fast asleep,
Slumbering in the other world,
Spirit at work,
The future opened to the spirit,
Half dead,half alive,
The sweetness of the tongue,
The mind at peace,
The body ennui,
Ears opened wide to the earth,
Brain unstable as the hearth,
Fastness of the nose breath,
Echoes everywhere,
Thinking of being alive,
But in the spirit world,
My name banged in my ears,
The body weak to respond.
Trying to forget the voice,
It keeps coming louder,
The spirit man on the pace,
In order not to miss the trace,
Could this be the herald race,
Inner man arrives the body,
A sharp awakening of the body,
Still the voice wouldn't stop calling,
The body relaxes again,
Finally I sat on the rug,
And recognise the voice at the window,
Smiles at his face,
While the awaken one not happy,
His smiles grow,
My soul mow,
While I wait for his words,
He was not happy at this time,
His mouth unstable as water,
The smiles comes again,
''Don't be annoyed he said,
Please take this morning
And buy me condom
By the road side''.
Thrice I heard condom,
My ears stood erect,
Like service connected without airtime,
Mind at trouble,
How to say NO.
I left with the money to a distance,
And return with nothing,
Just to meet him at the door,
Sweat rolls like rain drops,
An embodiment of disgrace,
Mind speaking all sorts of shameful
Things to a brother,
Sadness on his face,
As his request was not granted,
By the awakened one,
A dare devil he is,
The fair lady half naked,
My eyes almost dimed,
It flows in the blood,
Words mingled in the mind,
But the short man in the scene
Doesn't seems to be interested in mindset,
The lady try to spy on the errand boy,
Fear in the mind,
Door clapped,
A light voice in the dark,
''Take it easy''
Skin to skin I guess,
The sweetness of the game,
Pains of the waist,
Weakness of the body,
A painful pleasure,
Sex a destiny diverter,
''Women are wickedly good''
Trust and respect loss its hold,
Pellucid character of the short man,
The awakened sentenced to work,
Removing of water-leaf flowers,
Perish of his mind,
Wished in the mind,
He was a peeping tom.
Chia! His pernicious way to the family.

My Dream

Immediately when the sun shines,
A strange wrath arose from the shrine,
In the gloomy abyss we lay,
Breathing in melee day by day,
The lightening of the thunder,
The cloud close its eyes,
Plant,animals and human dies.
An awful tomb,we lies,
The ancestors now singing to our ears,
After the suffering of the decade years.
Homeless ......... Dream.

Trouble-Some Peace Offering

Trouble-some Peace Offering
A warm weather,
Heat at its peak,
The sun smiles at the earth,
Plants welcome it arrival,
As usual the patriot at home,
Music at the corners of the
Building,
Voices echoing outside while
The music gets higher,
Wow my usual friend is
Calling at the door,
The patriot comes out of his shell,
The smoker at a glance,
Smile as usual,
Asked for a hard time,
Patriot brain searching for an answer,
The big smoker erect excepting
A reply,
But it ended in sixes and sevens,
Afraid to speak,
Afraid to help,
Afraid yr o go,
Can this be wickedness by
The patriot?
Would i call it steal or taking?
The sophist character possesses
The patriot,
Wisdom lacking somewhere,
Could i be a partner in crime?
No! Never,
How can it be,
Conscience pricks,
The conversation seems to over
Stay its welcome,
And was ripe judgement,
Respect was invited at the scene,
Smiles fading gradually,
The patriot doesn't care to know,
Legs moving,
Sweat increasing,
The stubborn fly at the door,
No mango,
Yet human strived to get,
Lets wait and hear the order
From above.
Exchange of greetings,
The patriot laughing,
The big smoker murmurs.

Well we anticipate for the
Completion of the toilet,
Not the assistance of stolen
Materials to round it up,
To avoid swollen bom bom.

I hope no crime in the words
Not harsh at all.

Book: Shattered Sighs
