One of the things I wonder about when we were created,
Is whether or not the use of prayer is overrated.
Because there's certain things that it just doesn't answer,
Such as why bad things exist in the world such as cancer.
There's just some things that we have to understand,
But faith and understanding just dont quite go hand in hand.
As I always like to say," If its not what you expected,
Analyze the situation then move on and just accept it,
God made a decision and now we must respect it,
It may be shaky at first but with time we will perfect it."
Our problem can only get bigger if we choose to neglect it,
Times can get pretty rough, sometimes even get hectic.
God will always be there in His grace to correct it.
He works mysteriously and we might not quite understand,
How He's there to solve our problems, but not always how we planned.
And when we feel abandonded He takes us by the hand.
God will always be there because God equals love,
And he constantly sends blessings from His throne up above.
The blessings are always there,
Sometimes we choose to ignore them,
Life would be much better if only we learn to explore them.
One of the good sides of prayer is it allows you to give thanks,
And it's a good measuring stick in your life of where God ranks.
The goal is for him to reach spot number one,
And share it with the Holy Spirit and Christ His only Son.

Manuel Hernandez Poem
Every time I see you my heart goes from steady to fast,
Hoping to stop time so every moment with you could last.
Or better yet I wish that I could visit the past,
To prevent my broken heart from ever being in a cast.
You're the beautiful angel God sent from above,
And I'm here to talk to you about a thing called love.
See love isn't at the end of the rainbow with pots of gold and a map,
It isn't easily learned with definitions intact,
And while I can stand here and forever defend,
My case and say our love will never come to an end,
I'm no genius on it I can only pretend,
For love is an emotion I don't comprehend.
It's usually a thing between women and men,
And often times we see it fail again and again.
The things that I've been through have been expressed through this pen.
But most importantly I've been able to learn,
That being patient and standing waiting your turn,
Isn't the thing to do at all,
You've got to risk to find the one,
Who compares to none, wants to have fun,
Will always be there and will always love you a ton.
Hopefully one day I just might,
Be the one to steal your heart and send it into flight,
Because a girl like you is well worth the fight.
Your beauty is contagious just like the flu,
I can only hope my love for you will be too.

Manuel Hernandez Poem
I've got a lot of things on my mind,
But sometimes I can't find the words that rhyme and express how I feel at the
time,
And maybe it's a crime but right now I'm feeling blue
I wanted you to be mine because I thought I loved you.
You were special to me, I think I grew to adore you.
You couldve asked anything of me, I'd do everything for you.
That is until I was shocked,
With the fact that before we even talked I was blocked.
It doesn't make sense to me,
How you didnt even give me the opportunity,
So we could at least have been friends but hey what's new,
I guess that's just what the people I love tend to do.
They dissapear into the wind,
They're gone and I never see them again.
Maybe it's my emotions talking,
Maybe it's no big deal
Maybe despite this whole ordeal my love for you is still real,
But see that's the problem, I'm not sure anymore
I might just have to show the love I had for you the door.
