Adam's Apple

Delicious as it may sound,
a whisper from the heavens to the ground
the evil in my hand , red raging juicy fruit imagination,
Nature's natural sweet serpentine temptation,
how did it come to this ?
A life from the hands of Genesis
missing pages, that will bring death by the words of Revelation

My days, have become numb,
living through the flesh of Adam
a toast, with a kiss, I offer, Adam the beauty of the next bite
My heart had no meaning to know it was deceiving
the performance of a lifetime
banned from the Garden of Eden's eternity

My hands, have become numb,
my cup is empty, I can't find the proper filling
I'm falling far from the feeling of eternal light
Adam, what have we done, I feel the shame!
Our bodies of nakedness reveal the mud under both our bare feet

Take my hand, as I feel the pain of 20 crushing bones
I have the power to give birth to all my children,
this does not explain my punishment, BUT A GIFT!

No longer will the light ease this hunger
living day by day, until I meet my number

ADAM!
Am I not the apple of your eye ?
You, witness the conversation without a word of moral support
in you, the light has bestowed a powerful note,
from the tree of good and evil, conceiving with seeds
You, my love, will always swallow the apple for never speaking up
marked by a distinguished cartilage bone
" Adam's Apple "
I offer you ;

Raising a Tribe - Part Two

Adam, take the dust and
blow into tomorrow's winter world
the intruding consciousness
is evolving, embroiling a vainity of values,
who are we now, why this
language of redemption ?
the truth hurts once we
were exhiled from God's perfect garden,
the roads behind are
cold and alone, its you and me against the wind,
Adam, how will we survive
the hail, and 40 days of raging rain ?

In every emerging
evening I see a new face when I close my eyes
my intuitions are crystal
clear, Adam
I can feel the needing
agony of anticipation from my womb,
these shoes are worn out
from this journey, lets build
I will praise the
callouses of your hands once the walls reach heaven,
lets ride, make new
native noise, simply splashing love
lets harvest the future
drink from the wealth of cheap wine,
making choices knowing right - to wrong

Now that we are free, we
can enjoy the goodness before it fades,
the voices inside are
called, they can befit the beast
God intended us to be angels, alienating us away
lets grow upward,
testing the sound of silence, I want to eliminate the echoes,
with the sounds of laughter and tears,
I'm willing to take a greater
risk of falling,
hurry Adam, put a child
in my arms, and soothe the agony of absence,
its time to grow and generate
the human race,
this is my new chapter, unfolding
the Continuing Saga

Raising a Tribe - Part One

Eve, this land is already populated,
peopled by persons who seem like us,
although diffetent too, like seasons in soul,
divergent in their dreams for dynasty,
they have dialects from a depth of Dawn
that awoke long before we arrived to thrive here,
customs peculiar as shapes to stones,
Father never spoke of these klans
who strive to survive outside the mercy of His gaurded garden,
competitive as clouds in a shrunken sky,

I met a merchant, a servant to trade,
he told of banners and blood, laws and legacies
cultures savage and cities of crime,
gleamed from telling stories of wealth and wonder,
said they worship their Gods more ways than gold folds,
consider what we have encountered Luv,
will our children slay or be slain, war or work
love or get lost in conquest,
you, as a Woman of God's glorious gambit
have a harvest of futurity's face in the balance,
will you deliver the destiny of our union into this drama...

A Determined Devil

As I lay another cedar beam plumb for our home
smoke plumes, serpentine and sulfuric, interrupts the sunshine,
I look below the ridge, Eve standing silent
with weapon in hand, a woman so grand,
panic has no nest in her person, fear has no finger on her pulse,
I move like lightning to war by my Lady's side,

Valley vandels have come, scortching field fruit,
searing insidious signs into our peach and apple trees,
incarnate, the Devil disheveled with a defunct posse of three
approaches me, hailing not from a city of angels but from a ghetto of ghouls,
mean and ugly like ignorance injured by the ivory tusks of innocence,
a madman desperate for the destruction of Divinity,
unskillful and wishful for lies to come alive,
he's a scribbler scribe, a dribbler riddler
a stereotype simpleton, frontin and gruntin
fallin short of the great gangsta idol,
just a stereotypical imbecile, a pencil with no lead,
burpin chicken feathers claimin
them to be the silk quill of Angels,

I turn to Eve now with eyes saying now is the moment for demise,
briefly, before before I strike steel across the throat of Hell itself
our first promise to each other repeats in my memory,
" I forever fight for you "
as her brown eyes convince me of loyalty, love royal,
she rips her blade through his groin
as I open a river across the throat of this terrible thug...

I Killed the Snake - Part One

" Because I Love You "

Don't hold your breath too long
for everything you said was wrong,
insulting my love for you, keeps playing over and over like a sad song
am I nothing more than a tease, dirt from your ribs ?
remember Adam, I myself can no longer keep loving you in the third person,
Adam, I seek no justice, I know how to walk these gardens alone
I never asked for your heart, only your company and friendship
every other day fell into place, with love, respect and protection
should you banish me, insinuate things like a God ?
Why do you mock me, and cut me the way others do ?
Adam, your sword is much powerful than mine,
I read your chapter,
you spoke and said you won't walk through The Gardens of Goliath
Adam, does it matter now, your slingshot took me down
I did not mean to tarnish us, or make you feel the apple peel
my heart is not of evil, why do you crucify me, as if I took a second bite ?
I entered a realm, where I knew Adam's Apple would be the best
again, you did not speak, nor set rules with boundries,
as I did when I revealed the name of the Snake, which comes in two
for you I will move on, and be strong, knowing I will long for your touch
as I did before we exchanged our first kiss
I can never undo the bite, however, I can take down the elegance of my words
remove it from the devils dusty path, I wish no harm, nor reminder of what was...

Year One - Part One

Tell me Eve,
does this Garden have everything we need,
do you think the walls are too tall,
are the gatekeepers reasonable, tolerable, right about it all,
what did Lilith know, where did she go
far past the mountain snow,
why does Father insist that we do not bleed,
why does He profess perfection like a pantomime
only to reinforce rules that stymie our affection,

The Angels are so quiet around the pond
musing over our naked naivety
smirking about our romantic creativity,
I hear things in the shapeless distance Eve, things colorful and unbound,
Father says I'm feral in my desire, doesn't know if we will shine,
I want you to be mine, out there Eve,
where the stars seem nervous for our redemption,
let's roll Eve, take that scroll,
in our dawn there is no wrong, no ruinous toll,
We're gonna start a New Age,
Year One, a couple that courage stole...

Viper Rose

She grows in more than one territory
gaurded yet lofty, armored, but so smooth,
perfuming Day and Night with seductive melodrama,
never leaves home without her crimson camouflage
nor without smiling thorns,
horns of hunger, an insatiable eater of hearts
an angel of love born in blood,
she will scream in circles for your attention
curl her petals at your touch
and season One with sensuous soil,
kiss with a hiss and convert anger into bliss,
a Viper Rose is never sold, only given,
you pay with soul for her texture
she provides the everlasting erotic admixture,
she is the rose that moves me to prayer,
the woman that wows me into baths of fire -

Happy Valentine's Day Eve ** An original woman that I love more than heaven -

The Day After

The Day After,

Day after day, I pray for our Father to give this demon peace
Adam, I want you to know he does not bother me so,
his rage is his own, not mine,
---tormented by a word, he plasters on his face
words of sorrow, that haunted him for years
God Bless him, and the thin skin he lives in
he has no amo in that pistol he calls a pen
the movements, and the words he spews are too predictable
come sit by my side Adam, let's enjoy another slice of apple pie
together we can watch the mud splash from underneath his feet
look at the way he enjoys eating spoiled grapes
from the hands of his mangled up paparazzi cameltoe hoarders

For who does he think he is, attacking essence, that don't suit him
Adam, I have no problem when this demon speaks in tongues
I laugh at the ones who follow and uproar, his roar,
indecent knoeledge,
Why this demon cries and lies all night long? ---LET THEM ENJOY!
Anything that helps him attract ridicule flies from the same nasty barrio
I can say hurtful things, that will anger the demon,
give him, the real reason for vengence
ADAM! I'd rather not, my words are poisonous enough
too much for someone like him who easily gets bent out of shape,
when it comes to paper and pen, this backstabbing demon
I've shown you my sword, the rage I can display, however that's not lady like
even I was disgusted by the thoughts that poured from my golden pen
I killed, a world, and hung myself when spewing that 75 line verse
a poem, in which God, Himself shut me up, and said " Eve what have you done! "
Walk away now, and never look back, that kind of slam is forbidden
listen to the air, God is whipering, I need not to fight, a fight that's not worth it
Adam, this time let's trust the Lord,
look how this demon's eyes, eiden when we bite the strange fruit together
forget about the worm in the apple, preying on dirty minds needing attention
at the end, he will notice, God is my witness, and under His protection
I move forwards, not backwards, and I know how to turn the other cheek
Adam, its time to look away,
let's make love like never before, let's continue to explore a world of love
a world made especially for ADAM and EVE

Demon Below - Part Two

Eve look,
who is that dark stranger squatting sickly,
yelping about theft from inside that dying oak tree in the ditch,
do you smell him with that rancid rage, jealousy jingling in eyes,
he wears reptile hide sown together with rats' tails,
listen Luv, he's speaking of cliffs and crosses,
warning us constructing original ideas, original Love,
he sounds like some prancing papper preacher,
a pen with no story, a plan with no passion,
he claims our journey as his own
yet he has no woman, no Holy Rod,
his only charm is a dried pig's tail tied around his arm,

Now he throws mud in your direction like a burnt bully,
remain here Eve, this is a dangerous animal,
I will go over there to quiet his madness, as hammers lay rest to nails,

Eve, that demon told me we should rewind our ambition
back to the garden of glee, back to where life is free,
tried to persuade me to abandon you like rain from sky,
Eve my Luv, he said things against your virtue,
I felt anger as war feels frenzy
and rammed my fist through his mouth,
he has violated the wrong Kingdom,
we will laugh over the carcass
of his patheticness as we bury him -

Eve's River

This Adam's Apple of your molding
have given me a deep voice to rejoice our unfolding,
a deep love untethered from choice, a necessity of partner's growing,

My moral for you is to trust what you do Eve
to listen as your moods revolve throughout doubt and devotion,
I am the muscle in your might, the ferocity felling your fright,
my religion is unhidden for our mortality once forbidden,
Eve, you are more than the " Apple of my Eye "
you are the chapel wherein I find my will to rebel,
my law is to never let you fail,
to subdue that which may make you wail,
as long as I live
your chalice shall brim with intoxicating vim,
never forget that you are made from my flesh
upright and unruly from the richness of my ribs,
as consequence of your yearning you now feel the bleeding,
that red bath of a mortal's life, the strife of success,
when Father raged I was your defender, your accomplice,
I am your sword, and Lord,
you are my wisdom, and my Lady,
I have accepted the Apple of our awakening
and you will consume the seed of our flowering -
