Military Mom

I am a military mom with each new sunrise I awake to the sounds of whispers
fiercely traveling to my mind, prayers for our soldiers captured upon wings up on
high.

As I stretch, the morning sun greets me, a new day is born.
My dress of virtue, honor and strength is worn, and hopes for a better world for
tomorrow is what I whole heartedly grasp on to.

I walk through waters of tears embraced by the colors red, white and blue.

Once my precious son cradled and sheltered in my womb, now his voice travels
to my heart overseas “mom don’t worry, you can sleep at night, I will protect you
and our country”

My son dressed in camouflage walks his first steps on treacherous enemy
grounds.
United he stands with a new family of brothers together as one defending our
country from the human vipers lurking within.

They will tread on blood bath waters a struggle to fight their tears from falling
from there eyes as they carry one of their own through the sandy storms with
blood stained hands.

I’m a military mom standing proud; my dress of virtue, honor and strength is
worn; each day a new day is born.

Tears fall upon my feet, my pain captured upon wings up on high.

An illuminating vision from above the heavens is captured of moms bowed down
in a sea of tears, our hearts entwined though miles apart,we are one.

Please bring our children home save so we can embrace them in our arms once
again.

The Soldier My Son

My son I love you so much. Mere words cannot express how proud I am of the
Soldier, husband, son and dad you have become.

But as your mom I must say that I have always been proud of you.

The day you were born holds a memory in my heart that I will treasure till eternity.

Your cute little one eye gazing up at me…your other eye shut closed, I use to call
you Popeye.

On August of 1979 God blessed me with a precious gift…J, 7pds. 19 in 1/2
inches long.

Now you are a daddy and are blessed with a beautiful wife, whose heart you
embrace.

To see the love in your eyes for your sons as you gaze into there eyes with such
deep love.
Brings tears to my eyes and captures my heart and soul with a circle of love and
inspiration that can only grow.

Thank you for who you are, thank you for my grandsons whose heart will forever
live in mine.

Thank you for Dana who’s laughter and smile can light a room.

Thank you for fighting for our country and trying to make this place a safer place
for us all and all the future Popeye’s of this world.

I love you my son.

Words

Words

There is so much power behind words, words can touch hearts or words can
destroy who you are.
Words can bring tears of joy or tears of sadness; fill ones inner soul with deep
rooted madness.
Words can hide behind a dark wall of deception and birth into light corruption.
Words can make one feel strong or make one feel weak. We can conquer the
world or bow down to defeat.
Words can win hearts or tear love ones apart.
Words can help a child grow to be great! Or words can make a child lose there
fate.
Words can cut through ones heart like a knife or words can capture ones heart
and breathe new life.
Words of love or words of hate, words of love and praise are the ones our hearts
embrace.
Words spoken are engraved in children’s hearts and travel through there vessels
and help mold them into who they are.
Words can teach and open up the windows of your mind with a kaleidoscope of
colors venturing out to new horizons!
Words can inspire and touch our inner souls reaching new heights of liberation,
enlighten our inner beings with transcend visions.
There is power behind the words we speak and fiercely travel to ones heart.
No time to stop what’s been said. Before you speak always remember that
words we speak are never meek.

My First Love

My First love you are the reason I am alive. You are the reason I keep climbing
the treacherous mountain of life. You have tenderly placed my bruised and torn
heart in the palm of your hands. You have been with me from the beginning.
When all hope is lost when all my dreams are shattered. There you always are
waiting patiently and sensitively dancing your way into my heart.

When my heart feels like it’s been abandoned and my tears are swimming
fiercely to reach the seashore of new hopes and dreams.
I suddenly am awaken like a new born child and for the first time I can see that
you have always been there waiting for me and loving me unconditionally

My innocence as a child was stolen but you gave it back to me by blessing me
with a young heart and a very youthful appearance. So that by your grace I can
bask in the beauty of youth without fear and scars.

I have been betrayed by those close to my heart but you stepped in and blessed
me with courage and strength and unveiled the beauty of my heart.

You have blessed me with the finest pearls, my children that shape my heart

You have shined your light in the fabrics of my heart and manifested compassion
and covered in your blood, gently stepping in the fountains of the waters of life a
rainbow of empathy made a home in my heart.

You are my first love, you are the reason I am alive and my children the pearls
that shape my heart. I love you.
