The Black Stallion

Alone in the moonlit midnight sky
I rode with the shadows wishing to die
Then as the moon slid though the night
I stopped as my body trembled with fright

A big black beast was charging my way
I look to the moon but it fades away
The beast jumps fifteen feet in front of me
Flying over my head as I drop to one knee

I turn my shaking head
Assuming I'll soon be dead
But what I saw
Just put me in awe

A lovely black stallion was standing over me
On its hind legs it stands and lets out a neigh of glee
Then it turns its head and looks me in the eyes
The look in his eyes told me of my demise

Then he jumped at me
Slamming my body into a tree
Shattering bones and making me cough blood
Now I'm dead and my body drops with a thud

Flaming Rebirth

Fire burns my soul as darkness grows within
The darkness grows deep in my heart
I look normal and I seem normal
But something goes wrong
Then the darkness seeps out of my heart
The darkness flows out of the wounds
The wounds that rest on my wrists
My body drops to the cold floor
The warm blood moves out over the tile
Darkness now free mixes with the blood
But blood seeps away into the cracks
Leaving the darkness behind
Darkness surrounds my body
Coldly it enters my lungs
I take my dieing breath
Darkness caresses my burning soul
It offers to take away my pain
I give my soul to the darkness
My body rises as I am reborn
Cold eyes look upon my reflection

Let Me Be

Lonely and cold I sit here
Thinking of everything I fear
Only to believe and to know
That my heart is as black as a crow

With this over myself I lose all control
So I hop in my car and wrap it around a pole
Tonight it's time for me to die
Please if you care for me don't you cry

Bury me as fast as you can
Then go on with your old plan
For now I rest in my grave
All I ask is that you be brave

Soldier's Fate

Bloody bodies line the field
Piercing cries fill my mind
Blood covers my flesh
While tears flood my eyes
My mind is restless
Scattered with thoughts
Now I drop to my knees
Awaiting my painless execution
A .45 settles on my temple
Then the hammer is pulled back
My mind turns blank
Then memories of life and love
Flood my mind calming my all
Then the trigger is squeezed
And my body is at peace As the bullet enters my head
My face then hits the bloody soil
A solider's fate is to fight for freedom
Whatever the cost even that of his own life

Shadows Reborn

My mind appears from the shadows
Surrounded by the body of something
Something seeming only human
Human only skin deep
A long blade crosses my chest
Slicing open the human flesh
A terrible roar leaves my throat
Only to be stopped by sealed lips
Blood seeps out the gash
Spilling down my flesh
Immortality vanished with the slash
Then my body drops to the floor
I take in my dying breath
My body burns from the inside
As darkness seeps from the wound
Then it consumes my slayer
Sliding into its victim
The darkness takes control
As control returns
I see from new eyes
