Dying Everyday

Sickness spreads into my head
My Bones are thus infected
Nostrum is the only thread
Which keeps my life connected

Though I’ve wandered, I am not lost
Perhaps I’m just misplaced
My Ills begotten, merely forgotten
And yet I’m not erased

Adieu My Mortal Coil

Velvet winter’s bitter kiss
Escorts my soul to unholy Bliss
As teeth impale, my neck compelled
To embrace his unsacred gift

I am filled with blasphemed pain
As I am born anew
In damned unrest I will remain
A` vie je de adieu

*Hello everybody I just wanted to introduce myself,
I'm Ricky, Chan's (aka JustThatArchaicPoet) husband.
He's been encouraging me to join this community and
share my art so I finally decided to share my work here.
I've never shared my work so I'm interested and nervous
about sharing it but I'm looking forward to the experience
of putting myself out there for the first time. Thank You.

Bleeding Fire

Tears of fire scorching flesh
As I browse about my gloomy tomb
Midnight plucked to seize my rest
Bleeding wombs and nursing wounds

How mundane my flowered grave
Colors fade to black and grey
Shadowed stars of moons enslaved
As I recall it here today
How quickly I’ve decayed

Run For Your Lives

In the distance silence echoes
Fairness betrays its purpose
Salt watered lips aren't good for kissing
Life just sucks sometimes

I'm merely a shadow of my former self
There’s no escaping, its all in my head
Mentally barricading myself from the world
All of you gone

I would pray for you to seek me out
You wouldn't recognize me as I am
It matters not, my worth has vanished
Just because
