Christmas Magis

I was in my bead and fast asleep
when I heard a sound
I jumped to my feet
what was the noise i hear
if i didnt know better
I would say it sounds like reindeer
What is making all of this sound
Why do I see footprints on the ground
Down the stairs I went
Something busted open my chimney vent
I grew quite alarmed
Was it a robber
Should I be armed
I went in to take a closer look
Then suddenly the whole floor shook
I head a deep jolly laugh
What was that sound
What is this red sash
I see on the ground
From behind I hear a noise
Its pure not scary
Like the innocence of little girls and boys
I tried to investigate the source
Of what made this sound
When I looked around though
Nothing was around
Then what did I see
A little red present
Beneath my Christmas tree
As soon as it started it came to an end
On the present was a note
The note said " Merry Christmas my friend
