The One Below You ( You Never Knew Me)

Even after I put myself out on the line-
You still don't see me

Not matter how much love, patience, or time-
You still don't feel me.

And I just wanted to share these lines-
You still don't hear me.

But what Talib put my feelings in rhyme-
You still don't read me

So what should I do to publish these cries-
You still can't be me

You must be wrapped up in other peoples lies-
You will never reach me.

So when I finally get mine-
Then you'll really can't to approach me.

But you will live up to my tries-
Cause you will never defeat me.

Still

Peace-Be still
So still you can hear the wool grow on the backs of sheep. And the grass grow on the snow
covered meadows.
Allow the angels to sound their golden trumpets. A sound so soothing the stars shine- an
ensemble of light and perfection of music- silence.
Peace- Be still
Still as the fallen in their eternal rest. Un waken of man as they destroy God's creation
to feel adequate to the fellow man. Who has sold his soul for a golden staff.
Peace- Be still.
As the crowd moves from a mosh to a hush. In awe of the splendor of your humble pose.
Standing like a snow covered mountain. Peaceful at glance; Intrigued at sight. Beautiful.
Flawless stone of light with radiant colors.
Peace - Be still
As still as the newborn dream. A precious flower of love with a lifetime ahead of its own
being. To blossom, marvelous.. Pasture of whites, yellows, reds, and shades of green. Not
a ounce of rage. Nor hatred consumes thy heart. You are heaven sent.
Peace- Be still.
I've fallen into a trance in your presence. My heart no longer beats. There is no pulse.
I've fallen into the vortex- of the deepest ocean of blue. The swirl of your soft voice.
Your gaze- fills me with liquid thunder. Your touch- silk lighting. I silently humble as
if a summer storm approaches in the ending frame of September. The evening comes to a
close in the meadowlands.

I am at peace. For you too are still.

U Gave

Since the beginning--when those I thought loved me would never fail me-
U gave me hope.

When the world felt bitter and cold and I had nothing to call my own-
U gave me a understanding.

Time after time when I put all that I had out on the line for someone elses'
fate-
 U gave me a lesson.

And when it was my turn to ask for the same assists in my own hardship-
U gave me a prayer.

When I didn't understand why they all seemed to disappear when the lights went out-
U gave me a smile.

When the bones began to crack & chip apart from all the pressure of the world-
U gave me a strength.

When in the hardest times we may have scorned each other with fists of rage-
U gave me a moment of clarity.

But most of all, when I needed that courage the most in my life
U gave me prayer.

U gave me life.

Almost Alone

Forever rain & never clouds
No 1 can help me now
With shattered glass upon this pane
I'll fall eternal for no more pain
With teary eyes- my souls' alone
Lost memories of home sweet home
In fatigues tattered & torn
The only soldier who was never born
Faith has forgotten his pass glory
Once given up all that is holy
In crowded rooms I cry & yelp
Often heard but never helped
When tables turned- all certainly plea
Never innocent, forgotten guilty
Such a nice guy he proudly shows
The actors is he. so kind & bold
With body young & spirit wise
Yet never resting- thriving to rise
Bound by chains to this life
Of lies & tries- the unending night
Misguided youth with heartache crush
Broken hearts were dealt of that royal flush
Into the dark there lies some hope
While devils grasp around his throat
Always forward. Leap & bound
I remembered- "once lost, but now I'm found..."
Needing of nights with unsung prayers
In He I trust and never fear
These trying times will make quite weary
Never seen this heart so dreary
Has he lost his will to journey on
Regreting the day that he was born
Never, no NEVER will they lead astray
Bless this creed till my dying day.
