Sarah Culbertson Poem
Your beauty glows from your face
Like a ray of light projecting towards me
I understand and accept your flaws and
history
Nothing you say will scare me away
You're beautiful ina different way from
everyone else
Something about you nakes you rise
above the rest
Maybe the way you talk or way you walk
Lime nobody else I've ever seen
All of my thoughts about you kept within
I admire your beauty from the depths of
my mind
Telling nobody but me
I hope someday, someone will admire
your beauty as much as I do

Sarah Culbertson Poem
What has happened?
A break in the rain
No more thoughts clouding my mind
Finally I've come to a turning point
No more crying myself to sleep
No more smileless days
No more wasting my life
A chance to make the most of these days
Life is short, so make the most of it
You get to pick your arguments
So pick good ones
You choose your mood
So stay happy and smile big

Sarah Culbertson Poem
The face of loneliness is hidden by a mask
A mask of smiles and laughter
What can not be seen by the naked eye only few know
That the face of loneliness is bottled inside
The face of loneliness can take many shapes
From the shy girl in the corner
To the one with the most friends
The least suspecting people are just the ones who hide it the best
The face of loneliness banging to come out
But you keep it trapped inside of you like a prisoner
A prisoner locked in a small, dark room
You keep it in for so long you don't know what's true
The face of loneliness is hidden by a mask
A mask that very few can see past
But when one sees past it and opens up what no one else has
The face of loneliness is cracked
Like a mirror shattered on the floor
And you don't feel so lonely anymore

Sarah Culbertson Poem
All of these memories
Can never be erased
All the good times turn to bad
Gold fades to black as you turn away
All of the memories you tainted
Tainted with sadness
Tainted with regret
Tainted with depression
You stole my heart
Filled it with false love
Then left it to wither away in the wind
Slowly but surely
I's dead

Sarah Culbertson Poem
My darling,
You sparkle as bright as stars
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise
You are the most beautiful person I know
Inside and out
Yet you do this to yourself
Scars left on your arms
Nothing but sadness in your soul
You deserve nothing more than perfection
Although there is not much I can do
Let me help
I will be your shoulder to cry on
I will walk to the ends of the earth and back
If it meant you would be happy again
This sorrow overtaking your life
Is not something you deserve
All I can offer you is my love
But darling,
It's endless

Sarah Culbertson Poem
Unexpectedly as I walk through the door
All I can do is look at the floor
Your deep blue eyes staring me down
Impossible for me to even frown
Shyly I tell you my name
And it instantly sparks a flame
Talking and laughing all night long
I could tell this is where I belong

Sarah Culbertson Poem
Whatever it takes
Do it
Whatever sets your heart free
When you feel trapped inside a shell
Let it out
Find what you love and
Do it
Don't listen to what anyone else says
Listen to one voice and one voice
The one inside your own mind
Because in the end that's the only one that matters
When you find that one thing
The one thing that keeps you going on your worst days
Do it

Sarah Culbertson Poem
Surrender yourself
Let your body be taken away
Your mind be erased of al your worries
Sink into the notes
Feel the rhythm pulse in your body
The sound beaming from your fingertips
Let it take hold of you with its hands
Feel it flow through your bones to your head
And take control of your mind
Surrender to the music

Sarah Culbertson Poem
When will the end come
Of all this sadness, frustration, and anger
Trapped in a prison with no way to escape
Your voice is like a knife being thrust in
my heart
I don't want to need you
Yet my body craves your laugh, your
smile, your eyes
You look at me and rage builds inside me
You talk to me and my heart melts
Without you I beg for you to come back
With you I just want you to leave
I must get out of this dungeon
And be free from your grasp

Sarah Culbertson Poem
It's killing her
Every pill, powder, plant she inhales
Her body is slowly shutting down
Doing more of it just to escape the pain
Her best friend standing off to the side
Completely helpless trying to climb over her walls
That she has put up and locked her out of
Leaving her to watch from the outside
What's left to do?
Nothing but watch
As it consumes her mind and body
Until there's nothing left but bones
What will it take?
