Lately all I can ever sit and think about is you
and how I know your words to be only true
you will continuously be my friend
forever and for always until the end
friends like you are far and few, boyfriends are too
One day soon you will become my man
not just my best friend and biggest fan
you will be more when the time does come
and our relationship will be both serious and fun
but I promise that I will never how it all began
We bonded over our love for poems and such
and it grew to be a bond that grew so much
we have a bond that runs so deep
a step into a relationship is a big leap
You'll never know what you've done with a loving touch
You've touched my heart in more than just one way
In my life I want you to please please forever stay
I am still hesitant to follow again love's siren call
but I know with you I won't be hurt if I do fall
so your patient til I'm ready to take that leap one day

til you grow up and they are less amusing, less shiny

If you call on me
I will fall at your feet
Today I'm only thinking
of you, of us
Nothing helps me forget
Nothing takes away
the pain, it just
doesn't seem to get easier
so many questions in my mind
so many sleepless night
does he love me
does he miss me
does he think of me
does he still dream of me
is it hard for him to be friends with me
who is in his arms that isn't me
I love him
I miss him
I am always thinking of him
and I always dream of
what could have been,
what should have been
I am a glutton for punishment
by being his friend
no one has replaced him
Questions I want to ask
but I don't know if
I have the strength to know
