Dear Sir

I do not wish to be alone
nor do I require the silence
        to ponder my thoughts
        and reminisce a bitter past.
I have no desire for small talk
my surroundings are a bit dull
and you seem duller than the four walls.

Wait!
    Please do not leave.
I apologize for sounding rude.
Silence and solitude
do not always do the mind well.
My words have escaped me
       before they had reason to.

I look to the four walls
for I do not wish to look into your eyes
I have looked and wondered enough
        about these four walls
and though you add a change to this dull room
I think it is time for me to go.
A bit of fresh air might do me good
A change of scenery
might catch my words before they slip again.

Life and love has injured me
and words hold no contradiction
they only say they will not contradict
         that which is.

Goodbye sir,
I apologize again, my lips are loose
and I have wasted your time.

Angel's Melody

The music must be played!
The audience is waiting,
to hear the Angel's Melody.

A masterpiece, I tell you!
That none have ever heard before
A likeness to everything
and nothing at all.

The curtains go up,
the audience is quiet
and she is not there.

The music sheet is torn to pieces!
The only copy,
and it lies beside the piano.
A piece is missing!

No one can complete it.
No one can perfect it.

It is a masterpiece!
It is brilliance!
It is incomplete!

She is gone
and with her...gone is the Angel's Melody

I Met a Man One Night

I met a man one night,
he seemed strange and unchanged
by the ways of the world.
He took away my troubles
and warmed my heart.
For just one night I felt free
and alive.
For just a moment I knew comfort
and want.

Just one kiss left me undone
and just one word,
ended that night.

I met a man one night
and never saw him again.

My Enemy

You have the name of my enemy,

yet that is the name that lingers on my lips

You have the strength of a blood thirsty barbarian,

yet you are as gentle as a river

You are a fighter,

yet you know peace

You are the embodiment of anger,

yet you show kindness

You are scarred by battle,

and broken inside

You wear the well-known marks of a warrior,

yet you seem to be lost

You have your fears,

but you only show courage

A creature of wonder

A warrior of strength

My enemy.

Confused Yet

Would you like to know about the beast who controls my heart?
Would you like to get a glimpse into the freak behind my thoughts?
I wonder if you can handle knowing about the demon I have been hiding.

Is my smile innocent?
Are my eyes kind?
Do you think my words are sweet?

I have always wondered about this.
What is it you see when you look at me?
What is it you hear when I speak?

Do my words confuse you or is it the demon in your heart?
Did my smile invite you over or was it your own beastly thoughts?
I don’t want to know about the freak you have been hiding.

Tell me, are you confused yet?

You'Ve Been Warned

She's a goddess in disguise
A queen that deserves to be worshiped.
She is a woman of grace
A girl that has stepped out of her shell
And is making her place in the world

Don't be fooled by her innocent smile
Or the sparkle in her eyes
She will devour you
She will own your soul
And claim you as her own.

Don't say you have not been warned.
I did mention she is in disguise.
