Neil Tuneer Poem
the mountains from an open window
From my window, I see galore...
at the splendor of the enormous mountain of the Kanchendjunga
he seems to return me a welcoming glance,
which tells me of the wondrous beauty of the hidden world that he protects..
It tells me of the contact of mankind he evades,
and of the many a weary soul lost in his tread
and the cold disdain mountainous terrain over his head....
he chooses his solitude and his strength,
while leaving behind a lone cold fearsome shadow of dread........
He is the mountain of wondrous dread and a layer of snow over his head.....

Neil Tuneer Poem
The Last Wish
Ahh! In this last day,
Let me see the sun shining on the hay......
for a last time......
in a last vision.....
let me see the Almighty.......,
of creation.....
Let the horrid sins of men,
Be Subdued.............,
Let the sea of hope.........,
tide us over.
For all,and ever
let sickness and ailments.......
Be banished for ever......
Let me for a last time...............................................,
Close my eyes,
Forever.......................................................................................................................
