We Are One Nation

He laid there, warm and happy. Defeated as one, but successful as two.
A bullet hole straight through his chest. Another dark green uniform stained,
By the dark red liquid seeping through the torn fabric.
One hundred and one desperate young soldiers, laid to rest by the tip of his pistol.
A rifle jammed and abandoned just a mile away.
The last puff of smoked tobacco, freely evaporates into the broken spans of oxygen.
Fought for his family, his country, his land and our land.
Breached toward liberty, and founded it. At the tip of another’s Beretta M9…
This is America, America is you. America is he, she, and me.
I am “The America”.
Open and free, to you, including me. I’ve held my guard, stood stiff and tall.
Fought hard, till this day, to wave “hello”, to the one race “individuals” every single day.
Wave back, or don’t wave at all, I’ll respect you as an American and not a flaw.
United or divided; we are one nation, that stands under religion, we are one nation.
Black, white, tall, or small, whatever it is, WE respect all.
Our flag does and will, stand to protect us all.
WE ARE ONE NATION, FOREVER YOU AND I.

Unaccepted

“It’s not so simple to love someone,
Who just doesn’t love you back,
But it’s said,
 That in order to love;
You have to love, a love
 That’ll just tear you apart,
 Along with
 Breaking your heart.”
“And, I truly don’t understand
 Why that is--
But, I guess that’s just the way
 Humans are…”

I can hear the angel’s crying,
Cause’ every time you speak
They fear the fear of you lying.
See, you scared away my angel--
Oh, how empty life is now without
My umber--
The shadows you left me in
They’re breaking down my wonders.
Now I can’t stop, but wonder,
What made you,
So utterly cold hearted?
I feel like my chest will explode,
But my heart will still pump.
Dismantled it’ll stay with a, “thump,
thump”
“Stop and listen,
Carefully you’ll hear the rhythm,
Those echoes that skip then repeat”.
In silence, just a heartbeat,
I’ll wait for them to come, in the light
There they’ll be to wake me
From this horrible dream,
This dream, which breaks me.
“No, this nightmare that rapes me”.
Those clefts that have injured my
heart,
Have never even scraped me.
If you can’t take me,
At least say you’d forgave me,
Pray with me.
He’ll open the doors, he’ll save me--
These lies you’ve laid upon me--
Quit faking, It’s driving me crazy.
“Oh hey look,
Its daddy’s little baby,
Go ahead Otto, say “hello”,
He’ll accept you,
Maybe”...

Life-Altering Experience

Her eyes shut down,
Her life had been stolen, sleeping on a summer day,
Deeply, she’d snored in relief,
“She found the light”
The one she always searched for
Because the world is dark,
But her spirit can light up a town.
My mom met heaven,
Heaven approved,
And God introduced her to it.
I just didn’t think that God had to put her to bed,
For a whole month and a half,
Because we missed her,
We thought
We’d lost her.
But
You only borrowed her,
She has returned.

Fading Scars

Starring heavily at that double knotted rope
I thought optimistically about it
As a mad man
Slapping my dry and rough hands
On the ground
I picked myself up,
Weakly, I barely made it,
Gripping the tightly strung rope.
 From the ground
 To the ceiling
It hung;
With my mind upside down
I believed that it would remove you,
Take away the scars you’ve caused;
I thought it would kill you,
Not me.
Now standing,
 Off that old wooden chair
With my neck tied--
I kicked away.
I suffocated.
But, that’s weak too;
I only kicked away when the only
Hangings… were my scars.

The Stone Above You

The chains that were collided to each other have rusted and broken loose. Our hearts weakened and our mouths dried. Our love is buried, but we need one another!, or maybe I'm the one needing you. I loiter here at this dark place, hold this big rock of grey and watch the sky every night as it changes, gold to dull, it's unbelievable, it tells a story without speaking. The sun is married to the moon, but their distances never change love, because I still see the sun and I can still see the moon, therefore you can still see me when every night I fall asleep near the stone of your grave hoping for a miracle to see you again..

Awaiting God

You have given me my name, and you’re the only one to love me.
You are my father, better than life and, stronger then iron
You called me your son and spoke to me your word.
It is so beautiful; I couldn't, but memorize and write it down.
Publish it and call it holy.
Yes sir, it’s the bible. Guidance to our reconnection to perfection,
But none can be perfected.
Imperfectly advertising an answer that's not yet answered,
 But consumed.
Faith is you, and we praise for answers
Hidden replies are your solution. So we wait for the night,
Where you take us all away.
That is why, therefore "in God we wait, and trust".

Where'D You Go

I find it impossible to breathe,
Since you’re no longer found,
My head has fallen lower then my shoulders,
But my heart sinks further below,
Writing is my future,
But you are my path,
You've introduced me to the something I do best,
But I couldn't do it without you,
With you always around.
Now I just want to burst out in tears
And find another way about,
Cause' you're nowhere to be found
In this world so round'.

Love At First Sight

The dark blue mist that dwelled over the ferocious waves of the ocean
Roared in anger from the dictatorship of the golden moon,
And the rays of the sun it had consumed
Lit your eyes so amazingly, it burst at me as if it meant to blind me,
But consume me too.
My eyes resisted, I met someone new, and it was you.

Remnants of Life

And there you remained,
Permanent as the figure of your soul,
Attached to the veins of my heart,
You dwell upon my vision,
 There you are,
Smiling restlessly, you were enslaved.
Secretly unchained,
You flew freely,
But you still remained,
Attached.
Has Love found a partner?
Or has God relocated our hearts,
Replaying me and you
 As Adam and Eve?
Cause’ baby, it hasn’t changed,
Our love, it’s well-made,
And Sturdy
We shall
Remain.
